And Paul said, “John baptized with the baptism of repentance, telling the people to believe in the one who was to come after him, that is, Jesus.”Paul said, “John indeed baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying to the people that they should believe in the one who would come after him, that is, in Christ Jesus.”
I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life.These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God.
Therefore he is the mediator of a new covenant, so that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance, since a death has occurred that redeems them from the transgressions committed under the first covenant.For this reason he is the mediator of a new covenant, since a death has occurred for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first covenant, that those who have been called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance.
And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.Without faith it is impossible to be well pleasing to him, for he who comes to God must believe that he exists, and that he is a rewarder of those who seek him.
But I received mercy for this reason, that in me, as the foremost, Jesus Christ might display his perfect patience as an example to those who were to believe in him for eternal life.However, for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first, Jesus Christ might display all his patience for an example of those who were going to believe in him for eternal life.
Jesus said, “Truly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or lands, for my sake and for the gospel, who will not receive a hundredfold now in this time, houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and lands, with persecutions, and in the age to come eternal life.”Jesus said, “Most certainly I tell you, there is no one who has left house, or brothers, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or land, for my sake, and for the sake of the Good News, but he will receive one hundred times more now in this time: houses, brothers, sisters, mothers, children, and land, with persecutions; and in the age to come eternal life.”
Every athlete exercises self-control in all things. They do it to receive a perishable wreath, but we an imperishable.Every man who strives in the games exercises self-control in all things. Now they do it to receive a corruptible crown, but we an incorruptible.

Take with you words and return to the Lord; say to him, “Take away all iniquity; accept what is good, and we will pay with bulls the vows of our lips.”Take words with you, and return to Yahweh. Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this?”Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will still live, even if he dies. Whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?”
But the one who did not know, and did what deserved a beating, will receive a light beating. Everyone to whom much was given, of him much will be required, and from him to whom they entrusted much, they will demand the more.But he who didn’t know, and did things worthy of stripes, will be beaten with few stripes. To whomever much is given, of him will much be required; and to whom much was entrusted, of him more will be asked.
For it has been granted to you that for the sake of Christ you should not only believe in him but also suffer for his sake.Because it has been granted to you on behalf of Christ, not only to believe in him, but also to suffer on his behalf.
To him all the prophets bear witness that everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins through his name.All the prophets testify about him, that through his name everyone who believes in him will receive remission of sins.
Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.He who believes in him is not judged. He who doesn’t believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only born Son of God.
Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world.Beloved, don’t believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.
So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him.We know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and he who remains in love remains in God, and God remains in him.
So, if they say to you, ‘Look, he is in the wilderness,’ do not go out. If they say, ‘Look, he is in the inner rooms,’ do not believe it. For as the lightning comes from the east and shines as far as the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.If therefore they tell you, ‘Behold, he is in the wilderness,’ don’t go out; or ‘Behold, he is in the inner rooms,’ don’t believe it. For as the lightning flashes from the east, and is seen even to the west, so will the coming of the Son of Man be.
But now the righteousness of God has been manifested apart from the law, although the Law and the Prophets bear witness to it— the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe. For there is no distinction.But now apart from the law, a righteousness of God has been revealed, being testified by the law and the prophets; even the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ to all and on all those who believe. For there is no distinction.
For whoever finds me finds life and obtains favor from the Lord.For whoever finds me finds life, and will obtain favor from Yahweh.
I believe that I shall look upon the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living!I am still confident of this: I will see the goodness of Yahweh in the land of the living.
As for the one who is weak in faith, welcome him, but not to quarrel over opinions.Now accept one who is weak in faith, but not for disputes over opinions.
Therefore welcome one another as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God.Therefore accept one another, even as Christ also accepted you, to the glory of God.
Though you have not seen him, you love him. Though you do not now see him, you believe in him and rejoice with joy that is inexpressible and filled with glory, obtaining the outcome of your faith, the salvation of your souls.Whom, not having known, you love. In him, though now you don’t see him, yet believing, you rejoice greatly with joy that is unspeakable and full of glory, receiving the result of your faith, the salvation of your souls.
Jesus said to her, “Did I not tell you that if you believed you would see the glory of God?”Jesus said to her, “Didn’t I tell you that if you believed, you would see God’s glory?”
Jesus said to him, “Have you believed because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”Jesus said to him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and have believed.”

And Jesus said to him, “‘If you can’! All things are possible for one who believes.”Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”
