Every word of God is flawless. He is a shield to those who take refuge in him.Every word of God proves true. He is a shield to all who come to him for protection.
My son, don’t despise Yahweh’s discipline, neither be weary of his correction; for whom Yahweh loves, he corrects, even as a father reproves the son in whom he delights.My child, don’t reject the Lord’s discipline, and don’t be upset when he corrects you. For the Lord corrects those he loves, just as a father corrects a child in whom he delights.
Oh give thanks to Yahweh, for he is good, for his loving kindness endures forever.Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever.

Who is this King of glory? Yahweh of Armies is the King of glory! Selah.Who is the King of glory? The Lord of Heaven’s Armies— he is the King of glory.
A man’s steps are established by Yahweh. He delights in his way.The Lord directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives.
I am the true vine, and my Father is the farmer. Every branch in me that doesn’t bear fruit, he takes away. Every branch that bears fruit, he prunes, that it may bear more fruit.I am the true grapevine, and my Father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch of mine that doesn’t produce fruit, and he prunes the branches that do bear fruit so they will produce even more.
Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness for forty days, being tempted by the devil. He ate nothing in those days. Afterward, when they were completed, he was hungry.Then Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan River. He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in their hearts, yet so that man can’t find out the work that God has done from the beginning even to the end.Yet God has made everything beautiful for its own time. He has planted eternity in the human heart, but even so, people cannot see the whole scope of God’s work from beginning to end.
As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.He has removed our sins as far from us as the east is from the west.

For I am in anguish in this flame.’And he went to the place of the dead. There, in torment, he saw Abraham in the far distance with Lazarus at his side. The rich man shouted, ‘Father Abraham, have some pity! Send Lazarus over here to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue. I am in anguish in these flames.’
He said to them, “Come after me, and I will make you fishers for men.”Jesus called out to them, “Come, follow me, and I will show you how to fish for people!”
Yahweh is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and he knows those who take refuge in him.The Lord is good, a strong refuge when trouble comes. He is close to those who trust in him.
For Yahweh is our judge. Yahweh is our lawgiver. Yahweh is our king. He will save us.For the Lord is our judge, our lawgiver, and our king. He will care for us and save us.
He who covers an offense promotes love; but he who repeats a matter separates best friends.Love prospers when a fault is forgiven, but dwelling on it separates close friends.
Blessed is the nation whose God is Yahweh, the people whom he has chosen for his own inheritance.What joy for the nation whose God is the Lord, whose people he has chosen as his inheritance.
So then the other disciple who came first to the tomb also entered in, and he saw and believed. For as yet they didn’t know the Scripture, that he must rise from the dead.Then the disciple who had reached the tomb first also went in, and he saw and believed— for until then they still hadn’t understood the Scriptures that said Jesus must rise from the dead.
He said to them, “Beware! Keep yourselves from covetousness, for a man’s life doesn’t consist of the abundance of the things which he possesses.”Then he said, “Beware! Guard against every kind of greed. Life is not measured by how much you own.”
Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time.So humble yourselves under the mighty power of God, and at the right time he will lift you up in honor.
When Jesus heard it, he said to them, “Those who are healthy have no need for a physician, but those who are sick do.”When Jesus heard this, he said, “Healthy people don’t need a doctor—sick people do.”
