No one has seen God at any time; God the only Son, who is in the arms of the Father, He has explained Him. | No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is himself God and is in closest relationship with the Father, has made him known. |
For if either of them falls, the one will lift up his companion. But woe to the one who falls when there is not another to lift him up! | If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up. |

Rest in the Lord and wait patiently for Him; Do not get upset because of one who is successful in his way, Because of the person who carries out wicked schemes. | Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; do not fret when people succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes. |
