You must diligently keep the commandments of the Lord your God, and his decrees, and his statutes that he has commanded you.You shall take heed to observe the commandments of the Lord, your God, and the decrees and statutes that he has given to you.
Truly the eye of the Lord is on those who fear him, on those who hope in his steadfast love.But the eyes of the Lord are on those who fear him, on those who trust in his kindness.
As a father has compassion for his children, so the Lord has compassion for those who fear him.As a father has compassion for his children, so the Lord has compassion for those who fear him.
No one has greater love than this, to lay down one's life for one's friends.No one can have greater love than to lay down his life for his friends.
Look at the proud! Their spirit is not right in them, but the righteous live by their faith.The proud man’s heart is not upright, but the righteous man will live because of his faith.
So then, a sabbath rest still remains for the people of God; for those who enter God's rest also cease from their labors as God did from his.Therefore, a Sabbath rest still remains for the people of God, since those who enter into God’s rest also cease from their own labors as God did from his.
Happy is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people whom he has chosen as his heritage.Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people whom he has chosen as his heritage.
Or can one walk on hot coals without scorching the feet?Or can a man walk on red-hot coals without scorching his feet?
Praise the Lord! Happy are those who fear the Lord, who greatly delight in his commandments.Alleluia. Blessed is the man who fears the Lord, who greatly delights in his precepts.
And the Lord God made garments of skins for the man and for his wife, and clothed them.The Lord God made clothing for the man and woman out of animal skins and he clothed them.
Do not seek your own advantage, but that of the other.No one should seek his own advantage in preference to that of his neighbor.

Those who find their life will lose it, and those who lose their life for my sake will find it.Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.
Each of us must please our neighbor for the good purpose of building up the neighbor.Each of us must consider his neighbor’s good for the purpose of building him up.
If you obey the commandments of the Lord your God that I am commanding you today, by loving the Lord your God, walking in his ways, and observing his commandments, decrees, and ordinances, then you shall live and become numerous, and the Lord your God will bless you in the land that you are entering to possess.If you obey the command that I give you today, to love the Lord, your God, and to walk in his ways, and to observe his commandments, statutes, and decrees, then you will live and multiply, and the Lord, your God, will bless you in the land that you are entering to possess.
When one will not listen to the law, even one's prayers are an abomination.When anyone turns a deaf ear to the law, even his prayer is detestable.
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; all those who practice it have a good understanding. His praise endures forever.The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; those who are guided by it will grow in understanding. His praise will last forever.
Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?
And the Lord restored the fortunes of Job when he had prayed for his friends; and the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before.Thereupon the Lord restored the prosperity of Job after he had prayed for his friends, and he enriched him with twice as much as he had possessed before.

He is the reflection of God's glory and the exact imprint of God's very being, and he sustains all things by his powerful word. When he had made purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high.He is the reflection of God’s glory and the perfect expression of his very being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. Achieving purification from sins, he took his seat at the right hand of the Majesty on high.
The wealth of the rich is their strong city; in their imagination it is like a high wall.The wealth of a rich man is his stronghold; he regards it as a high wall that cannot be scaled.
And my God will fully satisfy every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.And my God will fully supply all your needs out of the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.
Then Jesus answered them, “My teaching is not mine but his who sent me.”Jesus answered them, “My teaching is not my own; rather, it comes from him who sent me.”

He called the crowd with his disciples, and said to them, “If any want to become my followers, let them deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me.”He then called the people and his disciples to him and said to them, “Anyone who wishes to follow me must deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me.”
