You must diligently keep the commandments of the Lord your God, and his decrees, and his statutes that he has commanded you.You shall diligently keep the commandments of Yahweh your God, and his testimonies, and his statutes, which he has commanded you.
Truly the eye of the Lord is on those who fear him, on those who hope in his steadfast love.Behold, Yahweh’s eye is on those who fear him, on those who hope in his loving kindness.
As a father has compassion for his children, so the Lord has compassion for those who fear him.Like a father has compassion on his children, so Yahweh has compassion on those who fear him.
No one has greater love than this, to lay down one's life for one's friends.Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends.
Look at the proud! Their spirit is not right in them, but the righteous live by their faith.Behold, his soul is puffed up. It is not upright in him, but the righteous will live by his faith.
So then, a sabbath rest still remains for the people of God; for those who enter God's rest also cease from their labors as God did from his.There remains therefore a Sabbath rest for the people of God. For he who has entered into his rest has himself also rested from his works, as God did from his.
Happy is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people whom he has chosen as his heritage.Blessed is the nation whose God is Yahweh, the people whom he has chosen for his own inheritance.
Or can one walk on hot coals without scorching the feet?Or can one walk on hot coals, and his feet not be scorched?
Praise the Lord! Happy are those who fear the Lord, who greatly delight in his commandments.Praise Yah! Blessed is the man who fears Yahweh, who delights greatly in his commandments.
And the Lord God made garments of skins for the man and for his wife, and clothed them.Yahweh God made garments of animal skins for Adam and for his wife, and clothed them.
Do not seek your own advantage, but that of the other.Let no one seek his own, but each one his neighbor’s good.
If you conquer, you will be clothed like them in white robes, and I will not blot your name out of the book of life; I will confess your name before my Father and before his angels.He who overcomes will be arrayed in white garments, and I will in no way blot his name out of the book of life, and I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.
Over his head they put the charge against him, which read, “This is Jesus, the King of the Jews.”They set up over his head the accusation against him written, “THIS IS JESUS, THE KING OF THE JEWS.”
Those who find their life will lose it, and those who lose their life for my sake will find it.He who seeks his life will lose it; and he who loses his life for my sake will find it.
Each of us must please our neighbor for the good purpose of building up the neighbor.Let each one of us please his neighbor for that which is good, to be building him up.
If you obey the commandments of the Lord your God that I am commanding you today, by loving the Lord your God, walking in his ways, and observing his commandments, decrees, and ordinances, then you shall live and become numerous, and the Lord your God will bless you in the land that you are entering to possess.For I command you today to love Yahweh your God, to walk in his ways and to keep his commandments, his statutes, and his ordinances, that you may live and multiply, and that Yahweh your God may bless you in the land where you go in to possess it.
When one will not listen to the law, even one's prayers are an abomination.He who turns away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer is an abomination.
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; all those who practice it have a good understanding. His praise endures forever.The fear of Yahweh is the beginning of wisdom. All those who do his work have a good understanding. His praise endures forever!
Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?Or don’t you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?
And the Lord restored the fortunes of Job when he had prayed for his friends; and the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before.Yahweh restored Job’s prosperity when he prayed for his friends. Yahweh gave Job twice as much as he had before.
For the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life a ransom for many.For the Son of Man also came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.
He is the reflection of God's glory and the exact imprint of God's very being, and he sustains all things by his powerful word. When he had made purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high.His Son is the radiance of his glory, the very image of his substance, and upholding all things by the word of his power, who, when he had by himself purified us of our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high.
The wealth of the rich is their strong city; in their imagination it is like a high wall.The rich man’s wealth is his strong city, like an unscalable wall in his own imagination.
And my God will fully satisfy every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
