Jesus is come soon (3/4)

For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have died. For since we believe that Jesus died and was raised to life again, we also believe that when Jesus returns, God will bring back with him the believers who have died.
The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit.May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit.
There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death. So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus. And because you belong to him, the power of the life-giving Spirit has freed you from the power of sin that leads to death.
My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When shall I come and behold the face of God?I thirst for God, the living God. When can I go and stand before him?
For the Son of Man came to seek out and to save the lost. For the Son of Man came to seek and save those who are lost.
And this is eternal life, that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent. And this is the way to have eternal life—to know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, the one you sent to earth.
Nevertheless I tell you the truth: it is to your advantage that I go away, for if I do not go away, the Advocate will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you.But in fact, it is best for you that I go away, because if I don’t, the Advocate won’t come. If I do go away, then I will send him to you.
But Jesus looked at them and said, “For mortals it is impossible, but for God all things are possible.”Jesus looked at them intently and said, “Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But with God everything is possible.”
God is faithful; by him you were called into the fellowship of his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.God will do this, for he is faithful to do what he says, and he has invited you into partnership with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
And he said, “It is what comes out of a person that defiles. For it is from within, from the human heart, that evil intentions come: fornication, theft, murder, adultery, avarice, wickedness, deceit, licentiousness, envy, slander, pride, folly. All these evil things come from within, and they defile a person.”And then he added, “It is what comes from inside that defiles you. For from within, out of a person’s heart, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, greed, wickedness, deceit, lustful desires, envy, slander, pride, and foolishness. All these vile things come from within; they are what defile you.”
But our citizenship is in heaven, and it is from there that we are expecting a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. But we are citizens of heaven, where the Lord Jesus Christ lives. And we are eagerly waiting for him to return as our Savior.
When Jesus had received the wine, he said, “It is finished.” Then he bowed his head and gave up his spirit. When Jesus had tasted it, he said, “It is finished!” Then he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.
Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.Repent of your sins and turn to God, for the Kingdom of Heaven is near.
Jesus said, “Truly I tell you, there is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or fields, for my sake and for the sake of the good news, who will not receive a hundredfold now in this age—houses, brothers and sisters, mothers and children, and fields with persecutions—and in the age to come eternal life.”“Yes,” Jesus replied, “and I assure you that everyone who has given up house or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or property, for my sake and for the Good News, will receive now in return a hundred times as many houses, brothers, sisters, mothers, children, and property—along with persecution. And in the world to come that person will have eternal life.”
Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.May God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ give you grace and peace.
Riches and honor come from you, and you rule over all. In your hand are power and might; and it is in your hand to make great and to give strength to all.Wealth and honor come from you alone, for you rule over everything. Power and might are in your hand, and at your discretion people are made great and given strength.
Jesus looked at them and said, “For mortals it is impossible, but not for God; for God all things are possible.”Jesus looked at them intently and said, “Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But not with God. Everything is possible with God.”
But for that very reason I received mercy, so that in me, as the foremost, Jesus Christ might display the utmost patience, making me an example to those who would come to believe in him for eternal life. But God had mercy on me so that Christ Jesus could use me as a prime example of his great patience with even the worst sinners. Then others will realize that they, too, can believe in him and receive eternal life.
For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor rulers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Then when you call upon me and come and pray to me, I will hear you.In those days when you pray, I will listen.

Yet a ruler of Israel, whose origins are in the distant past, will come from you on my behalf.

The Lord is not slow about his promise, as some think of slowness, but is patient with you, not wanting any to perish, but all to come to repentance. The Lord isn’t really being slow about his promise, as some people think.
