But surely, God is my helper; the Lord is the upholder of my life. But God is my helper. The Lord keeps me alive!
You show me the path of life. In your presence there is fullness of joy; in your right hand are pleasures forevermore. You will show me the way of life, granting me the joy of your presence and the pleasures of living with you forever.
By day the Lord commands his steadfast love, and at night his song is with me, a prayer to the God of my life. But each day the Lord pours his unfailing love upon me, and through each night I sing his songs, praying to God who gives me life.
The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? The Lord is my light and my salvation— so why should I be afraid? The Lord is my fortress, protecting me from danger, so why should I tremble?
Indeed, all who want to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.Yes, and everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution.
For what will it profit them if they gain the whole world but forfeit their life? Or what will they give in return for their life? And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul? Is anything worth more than your soul?

For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life. For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.
But now that you have been freed from sin and enslaved to God, the advantage you get is sanctification. The end is eternal life. But now you are free from the power of sin and have become slaves of God. Now you do those things that lead to holiness and result in eternal life.
I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life.I have written this to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know you have eternal life.
And he said to them, “Take care! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; for one's life does not consist in the abundance of possessions.”Then he said, “Beware! Guard against every kind of greed. Life is not measured by how much you own.”
Because your steadfast love is better than life, my lips will praise you. So I will bless you as long as I live; I will lift up my hands and call on your name.Your unfailing love is better than life itself; how I praise you! I will praise you as long as I live, lifting up my hands to you in prayer.
So that, just as sin exercised dominion in death, so grace might also exercise dominion through justification leading to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.So just as sin ruled over all people and brought them to death, now God’s wonderful grace rules instead, giving us right standing with God and resulting in eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
