Love (3/4)

You are altogether beautiful, my darling, beautiful in every way.You are all-beautiful, my love, without the slightest blemish.
May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.
Let your unfailing love surround us, Lord, for our hope is in you alone.O Lord, let your kindness rest upon us, for we have placed our hope in you.
Let your favor shine on your servant. In your unfailing love, rescue me.Let your face shine upon your servant; save me in your kindness.
I cried out, “I am slipping!” but your unfailing love, O Lord, supported me.When I realized that my foot was slipping, your kindness, O Lord, raised me up.
We know what real love is because Jesus gave up his life for us. So we also ought to give up our lives for our brothers and sisters. This is how we know what love is: he laid down his life for us, and we in turn must be prepared to lay down our lives for our brethren.
Understand, therefore, that the Lord your God is indeed God. He is the faithful God who keeps his covenant for a thousand generations and lavishes his unfailing love on those who love him and obey his commands.Keep in mind, therefore, that the Lord, your God, is God. He is a faithful God who keeps his covenant of mercy to the thousandth generation toward those who love him and observe his commandments.
And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength. You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.
But you, Timothy, are a man of God; so run from all these evil things. Pursue righteousness and a godly life, along with faith, love, perseverance, and gentleness. But as for you, man of God, you must shun all this. Rather, pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, fortitude, and gentleness.
I have revealed you to them, and I will continue to do so. Then your love for me will be in them, and I will be in them.I have made your name known to them, and I will make it known, so that the love with which you loved me may be in them, and I in them.
And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.We know that God makes all things work together for good for those who love him and who are called according to his purpose.
Live a life filled with love, following the example of Christ. He loved us and offered himself as a sacrifice for us, a pleasing aroma to God.And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a sacrificial offering whose fragrance is pleasing to God.
Wives, submit to your husbands, as is fitting for those who belong to the Lord. Husbands, love your wives and never treat them harshly.Wives, be subject to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord. Husbands, love your wives and do not treat them harshly.
Finally, all of you should be of one mind. Sympathize with each other. Love each other as brothers and sisters. Be tenderhearted, and keep a humble attitude. Finally, all of you should be united in spirit, sympathetic, filled with love for one another, compassionate, and humble.
You who love the Lord, hate evil! He protects the lives of his godly people and rescues them from the power of the wicked.Let those who love the Lord hate evil, for he protects the souls of his faithful ones and rescues them from the hand of the wicked.
For when we place our faith in Christ Jesus, there is no benefit in being circumcised or being uncircumcised. What is important is faith expressing itself in love.Since in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor lack of circumcision is worth anything. All that matters is faith expressing itself through love.
Place me like a seal over your heart, like a seal on your arm. For love is as strong as death, its jealousy as enduring as the grave. Love flashes like fire, the brightest kind of flame.Set me as a seal on your heart, as a seal upon your arm. For love is as strong as death, and ardor is as relentless as the netherworld. Its flames are flashes of fire, an unending blaze.
If someone has enough money to live well and sees a brother or sister in need but shows no compassion—how can God’s love be in that person? If anyone is rich in worldly possessions and sees a brother in need but refuses to open his heart, how can the love of God abide in him?
And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love.Such hope will not be doomed to disappointment, because the love of God has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit that has been given to us.
Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever.Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his mercy endures forever.
The Lord is compassionate and merciful, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love. The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in kindness.
He loves whatever is just and good; the unfailing love of the Lord fills the earth. The Lord loves righteousness and justice; the earth is filled with his kindness.
But to you who are willing to listen, I say, love your enemies! Do good to those who hate you. Bless those who curse you. Pray for those who hurt you.But to those of you who are listening to me, I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you.
If I could speak all the languages of earth and of angels, but didn’t love others, I would only be a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. If in speaking I use human tongues and angelic as well, but do not have love, I am nothing more than a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.
I love the Lord because he hears my voice and my prayer for mercy. Because he bends down to listen, I will pray as long as I have breath!I love the Lord because he has heard my voice and listened to my cry for mercy, because he has inclined his ear to me on the day when I called out to him.

Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death?Who then can separate us from the love of Christ? Will hardship, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or the sword?
