Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap; for the measure you give will be the measure you get back. The good person out of the good treasure of the heart produces good, and the evil person out of evil treasure produces evil; for it is out of the abundance of the heart that the mouth speaks. No one after lighting a lamp hides it under a jar, or puts it under a bed, but puts it on a lampstand, so that those who enter may see the light. When Jesus heard this, he replied, “Do not fear. Only believe, and she will be saved.” Luke 8:50	But when Jesus heard what had happened, he said to Jairus, “Don’t be afraid. Just have faith, and she will be healed.” fear faith healing
And taking the five loaves and the two fish, he looked up to heaven, and blessed and broke them, and gave them to the disciples to set before the crowd. And all ate and were filled. What was left over was gathered up, twelve baskets of broken pieces. Luke 9:16-17	Jesus took the five loaves and two fish, looked up toward heaven, and blessed them. Then, breaking the loaves into pieces, he kept giving the bread and fish to the disciples so they could distribute it to the people. For those who want to save their life will lose it, and those who lose their life for my sake will save it. Luke 9:24	If you try to hang on to your life, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for my sake, you will save it. sacrifice life
And said to them, “Whoever welcomes this child in my name welcomes me, and whoever welcomes me welcomes the one who sent me; for the least among all of you is the greatest.” Luke 9:48	Then he said to them, “Anyone who welcomes a little child like this on my behalf welcomes me, and anyone who welcomes me also welcomes my Father who sent me. So I say to you, Ask, and it will be given you; search, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened for you. If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him! Nothing is covered up that will not be uncovered, and nothing secret that will not become known. Luke 12:2	The time is coming when everything that is covered up will be revealed, and all that is secret will be made known to all. truth honesty
Therefore whatever you have said in the dark will be heard in the light, and what you have whispered behind closed doors will be proclaimed from the housetops. Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? Yet not one of them is forgotten in God's sight. But even the hairs of your head are all counted. Do not be afraid; you are of more value than many sparrows. Luke 12:6-7	What is the price of five sparrows—two copper coins? Yet God does not forget a single one of them. And the very hairs on your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid; you are more valuable to God than a whole flock of sparrows. valuable fear encouragement
And he said to them, “Take care! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; for one's life does not consist in the abundance of possessions.” Luke 12:15	Then he said, “Beware! Guard against every kind of greed. Life is not measured by how much you own.” money greed materialism
Do not worry about your life, what you will eat, or about your body, what you will wear. For life is more than food, and the body more than clothing. Luke 12:22b-23	That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life—whether you have enough food to eat or enough clothes to wear. Consider the ravens: they neither sow nor reap, they have neither storehouse nor barn, and yet God feeds them. Of how much more value are you than the birds! Luke 12:24	Look at the ravens. They don’t plant or harvest or store food in barns, for God feeds them. And you are far more valuable to him than any birds! food life worrying
Do not be afraid, little flock, for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom. Luke 12:32	So don’t be afraid, little flock. For it gives your Father great happiness to give you the Kingdom. fear Father kingdom

But the one who did not know and did what deserved a beating will receive a light beating. From everyone to whom much has been given, much will be required; and from the one to whom much has been entrusted, even more will be demanded.

But someone who does not know, and then does something wrong, will be punished only lightly. When someone has been given much, much will be required in return; and when someone has been entrusted with much, even more will be required.
