You lavish it on those who come to you for protection, blessing them before the watching world. |

Rather, pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, fortitude, and gentleness. | But you, Timothy, are a man of God; so run from all these evil things. Pursue righteousness and a godly life, along with faith, love, perseverance, and gentleness. |
