O (3/4)

As we proceed in the path of your judgments, we wait for you, O Lord; your name and your renown are all that our heart desires.Lord, we show our trust in you by obeying your laws; our heart’s desire is to glorify your name.
Examine me, O God, and know my heart; test me and understand my thoughts. See if I follow an evil way, and guide me on the way to eternity.Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. Point out anything in me that offends you, and lead me along the path of everlasting life.
O Lord, you are my God. I will exalt you and praise your name, for you have accomplished wonderful things, formulated in ages past, faithful and sure.O Lord, I will honor and praise your name, for you are my God. You do such wonderful things! You planned them long ago, and now you have accomplished them.
I will offer praise to you, O Lord, with my whole heart; I will recount all your wondrous deeds.I will praise you, Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things you have done.
O God, you are my God, for whom I have been searching earnestly. My soul yearns for you and my body thirsts for you, like the earth when it is parched, arid and without water.O God, you are my God; I earnestly search for you. My soul thirsts for you; my whole body longs for you in this parched and weary land where there is no water.
Why are you so disheartened, O my soul? Why do you sigh within me? Place your hope in God; for I will once again praise him, my Savior and my God.Why am I discouraged? Why is my heart so sad? I will put my hope in God! I will praise him again— my Savior and my God!
Therefore, you have no excuse, whoever you may be, when you pass judgment on others. For in judging others you condemn yourself, since you are doing the same things. You may think you can condemn such people, but you are just as bad, and you have no excuse! When you say they are wicked and should be punished, you are condemning yourself, for you who judge others do these very same things.
O Lord, you grant peace to those who are steadfast because of their trust in you.You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you!
How great you are, Lord God! There is no one like you, and there is no God except you alone, as everything that we have heard confirms. How great you are, O Sovereign Lord! There is no one like you. We have never even heard of another God like you!
But from you, O Bethlehem Ephrathah, among the tiniest of the clans of Judah, from you will come forth for me one who is to be a ruler in Israel, one whose origins are from the distant past, from ancient times. But you, O Bethlehem Ephrathah, are only a small village among all the people of Judah. Yet a ruler of Israel, whose origins are in the distant past, will come from you on my behalf.
How great is your goodness, O Lord, which you have stored up for those who fear you and which you bestow on those who take refuge in you, in the presence of all the people. How great is the goodness you have stored up for those who fear you. You lavish it on those who come to you for protection, blessing them before the watching world.
But as for you, man of God, you must shun all this. Rather, pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, fortitude, and gentleness. But you, Timothy, are a man of God; so run from all these evil things. Pursue righteousness and a godly life, along with faith, love, perseverance, and gentleness.
Come forth! Let us bow down to worship him; let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker.Come, let us worship and bow down. Let us kneel before the Lord our maker.
I will extol you, my God and King; I will bless your name forever and ever.I will exalt you, my God and King, and praise your name forever and ever.
Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the man who takes refuge in him.Taste and see that the Lord is good. Oh, the joys of those who take refuge in him!
Give thanks to the Lord, invoke his name; proclaim his deeds among the peoples.Give thanks to the Lord and proclaim his greatness. Let the whole world know what he has done.
Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his mercy endures forever.Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever.
I say to the Lord, “You are my Lord; I have no good apart from you.”I said to the Lord, “You are my Master! Every good thing I have comes from you.”
Salvation comes from the Lord. May your blessing be upon your people. SelahVictory comes from you, O Lord. May you bless your people.
Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How inscrutable are his judgments and how unfathomable his ways!Oh, how great are God’s riches and wisdom and knowledge! How impossible it is for us to understand his decisions and his ways!
And so now, O Israel, what does the Lord, your God, require of you but to fear the Lord, your God, to walk in all of his ways, to love him, to serve the Lord, your God, with all your heart and all your soul, and to observe the commandments and the statutes that I am giving you today for your own good. And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God require of you? He requires only that you fear the Lord your God, and live in a way that pleases him, and love him and serve him with all your heart and soul. And you must always obey the Lord’s commands and decrees that I am giving you today for your own good.
Listen, my son, and take my words to heart, and the years of your life will be multiplied. My child, listen to me and do as I say, and you will have a long, good life.
I seek you with all my heart; do not let me stray from your precepts.I have tried hard to find you— don’t let me wander from your commands.
Return, rebel Israel, says the Lord. I will not look upon you in anger. For I am merciful, says the Lord; my wrath will not continue forever.O Israel, my faithless people, come home to me again, for I am merciful. I will not be angry with you forever.
Let those who love the Lord hate evil, for he protects the souls of his faithful ones and rescues them from the hand of the wicked. You who love the Lord, hate evil! He protects the lives of his godly people and rescues them from the power of the wicked.

Ah, Lord God, you made the heavens and the earth by your great power and your outstretched arm. Nothing is impossible for you.O Sovereign Lord! You made the heavens and earth by your strong hand and powerful arm. Nothing is too hard for you!

In much the same manner
will wisdom be sweet to your soul.
