My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When shall I come and appear before God?My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When shall I come and appear before God?
Deep calls to deep at the roar of your waterfalls; all your breakers and your waves have gone over me.Deep calls unto deep at the noise of Your waterfalls; All Your waves and billows have gone over me.
By day the Lord commands his steadfast love, and at night his song is with me, a prayer to the God of my life.The Lord will command His lovingkindness in the daytime, And in the night His song shall be with me— A prayer to the God of my life.
Why are you cast down, O my soul, and why are you in turmoil within me? Hope in God; for I shall again praise him, my salvation and my God.Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God; For I shall yet praise Him, The help of my countenance and my God.
For not by their own sword did they win the land, nor did their own arm save them, but your right hand and your arm, and the light of your face, for you delighted in them.For they did not gain possession of the land by their own sword, Nor did their own arm save them; But it was Your right hand, Your arm, and the light of Your countenance, Because You favored them.
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble.

Have mercy on me, O God, according to your steadfast love; according to your abundant mercy blot out my transgressions. Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin!Have mercy upon me, O God, According to Your lovingkindness; According to the multitude of Your tender mercies, Blot out my transgressions. Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, And cleanse me from my sin.
Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.Create in me a clean heart, O God, And renew a steadfast spirit within me.
The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise.The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, A broken and a contrite heart— These, O God, You will not despise.
Behold, God is my helper; the Lord is the upholder of my life.Behold, God is my helper; The Lord is with those who uphold my life.
Cast your burden on the Lord, and he will sustain you; he will never permit the righteous to be moved.Cast your burden on the Lord, And He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved.
When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You.
In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I shall not be afraid. What can flesh do to me?In God (I will praise His word), In God I have put my trust; I will not fear. What can flesh do to me?
Be exalted, O God, above the heavens! Let your glory be over all the earth!Be exalted, O God, above the heavens; Let Your glory be above all the earth.
For your steadfast love is great to the heavens, your faithfulness to the clouds.For Your mercy reaches unto the heavens, And Your truth unto the clouds.
But I will sing of your strength; I will sing aloud of your steadfast love in the morning. For you have been to me a fortress and a refuge in the day of my distress.But I will sing of Your power; Yes, I will sing aloud of Your mercy in the morning; For You have been my defense And refuge in the day of my trouble.
For God alone my soul waits in silence; from him comes my salvation.Truly my soul silently waits for God; From Him comes my salvation.
He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I shall not be greatly shaken.He only is my rock and my salvation; He is my defense; I shall not be greatly moved.
For God alone, O my soul, wait in silence, for my hope is from him.My soul, wait silently for God alone, For my expectation is from Him.

On God rests my salvation and my glory; my mighty rock, my refuge is God.In God is my salvation and my glory; The rock of my strength, And my refuge, is in God.
And that to you, O Lord, belongs steadfast love. For you will render to a man according to his work.Also to You, O Lord, belongs mercy; For You render to each one according to his work.
O God, you are my God; earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you; my flesh faints for you, as in a dry and weary land where there is no water.O God, You are my God; Early will I seek You; My soul thirsts for You; My flesh longs for You In a dry and thirsty land Where there is no water.
Because your steadfast love is better than life, my lips will praise you. So I will bless you as long as I live; in your name I will lift up my hands.Because Your lovingkindness is better than life, My lips shall praise You. Thus I will bless You while I live; I will lift up my hands in Your name.

For you, O God, have tested us; you have tried us as silver is tried.For You, O God, have tested us; You have refined us as silver is refined.
