And I fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to me, ‘Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?’ | I fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to me, ‘Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?’ |
Lead me in Your truth and teach me, For You are the God of my salvation; For You I wait all the day. | Guide me in your truth, and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation. I wait for you all day long. |
|
Teach me to do Your will, For You are my God; Let Your good Spirit lead me on level ground. | Teach me to do your will, for you are my God. Your Spirit is good. Lead me in the land of uprightness. |
Protect me, God, for I take refuge in You. | Preserve me, God, for I take refuge in you. |
From my distress I called upon the Lord; The Lord answered me and put me in an open space. | Out of my distress, I called on Yah. Yah answered me with freedom. |
God blesses us, So that all the ends of the earth may fear Him. | God will bless us. All the ends of the earth shall fear him. |
For the eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous, And His ears attend to their prayer, But the face of the Lord is against evildoers. | For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears open to their prayer; but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil. |
Hate evil, you who love the Lord, Who watches over the souls of His godly ones; He saves them from the hand of the wicked. | You who love Yahweh, hate evil! He preserves the souls of his saints. He delivers them out of the hand of the wicked. |
For You are my rock and my fortress; For the sake of Your name You will lead me and guide me. | For you are my rock and my fortress, therefore for your name’s sake lead me and guide me. |
He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things? | He who didn’t spare his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how would he not also with him freely give us all things? |
My times are in Your hand; Rescue me from the hand of my enemies and from those who persecute me. | My times are in your hand. Deliver me from the hand of my enemies, and from those who persecute me. |
But as for me, I will be on the watch for the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation. My God will hear me. | But as for me, I will look to Yahweh. I will wait for the God of my salvation. My God will hear me. |
One person values one day over another, another values every day the same. Each person must be fully convinced in his own mind. | One man esteems one day as more important. Another esteems every day alike. Let each man be fully assured in his own mind. |
Now Jesus was teaching in one of the synagogues on the Sabbath. And there was a woman who for eighteen years had had a sickness caused by a spirit; and she was bent over double, and could not straighten up at all. When Jesus saw her, He called her over and said to her, “Woman, you are freed from your sickness.” And He laid His hands on her; and immediately she stood up straight again, and began glorifying God. But the synagogue leader, indignant because Jesus had healed on the Sabbath, began saying to the crowd in response, “There are six days during which work should be done; so come during them and get healed, and not on the Sabbath day.” But the Lord answered him and said, “You hypocrites, does each of you on the Sabbath not untie his ox or donkey from the stall and lead it away to water it? And this woman, a daughter of Abraham as she is, whom Satan has bound for eighteen long years, should she not have been released from this restraint on the Sabbath day?” And as He said this, all His opponents were being humiliated; and the entire crowd was rejoicing over all the glorious things being done by Him. | He was teaching in one of the synagogues on the Sabbath day. Behold, there was a woman who had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years. She was bent over and could in no way straighten herself up. When Jesus saw her, he called her and said to her, “Woman, you are freed from your infirmity.” He laid his hands on her, and immediately she stood up straight and glorified God. The ruler of the synagogue, being indignant because Jesus had healed on the Sabbath, said to the multitude, “There are six days in which men ought to work. Therefore come on those days and be healed, and not on the Sabbath day!” Therefore the Lord answered him, “You hypocrites! Doesn’t each one of you free his ox or his donkey from the stall on the Sabbath and lead him away to water? Ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham whom Satan had bound eighteen long years, be freed from this bondage on the Sabbath day?” As he said these things, all his adversaries were disappointed; and all the multitude rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by him. |
The Lord is my shepherd, I will not be in need. He lets me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside quiet waters. | Yahweh is my shepherd; I shall lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. |
For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain. | For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain. |
And He said to them, “Whoever receives this child in My name receives Me, and whoever receives Me receives Him who sent Me; for the one who is least among all of you, this is the one who is great.” | And said to them, “Whoever receives this little child in my name receives me. Whoever receives me receives him who sent me. For whoever is least among you all, this one will be great.” |
If an army encamps against me, My heart will not fear; If war arises against me, In spite of this I am confident. | Though an army should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear. Though war should rise against me, even then I will be confident. |
Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear Him, On those who wait for His faithfulness. | Behold, Yahweh’s eye is on those who fear him, on those who hope in his loving kindness. |
Be gracious to me, God, according to Your faithfulness; According to the greatness of Your compassion, wipe out my wrongdoings. Wash me thoroughly from my guilt And cleanse me from my sin. | Have mercy on me, God, according to your loving kindness. According to the multitude of your tender mercies, blot out my transgressions. Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity. Cleanse me from my sin. |
I can do all things through Him who strengthens me. | I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. |
I am the vine, you are the branches; the one who remains in Me, and I in him bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing. | I am the vine. You are the branches. He who remains in me and I in him bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing. |
I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me. | I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. That life which I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself up for me. |
Yet I have been the Lord your God Since the land of Egypt; And you were not to know any god except Me, For there is no savior besides Me. | Yet I am Yahweh your God from the land of Egypt; and you shall acknowledge no god but me, and besides me there is no savior. |
Lord, You have searched me and known me. You know when I sit down and when I get up; You understand my thought from far away. | Yahweh, you have searched me, and you know me. You know my sitting down and my rising up. You perceive my thoughts from afar. |
