Unfailing love (3/4)

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.Love is patient; love is kind; love is not envious or boastful or arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful.
Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest and repent.I reprove and discipline those whom I love. Be earnest, therefore, and repent.
Who is a God like you, who pardons sin and forgives the transgression of the remnant of his inheritance? You do not stay angry forever but delight to show mercy.Who is a God like you, pardoning iniquity and passing over the transgression of the remnant of your possession? He does not retain his anger forever, because he delights in showing clemency.
Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves.Love one another with mutual affection; outdo one another in showing honor.
By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.
Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.Little children, let us love, not in word or speech, but in truth and action.
But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.

He answered, ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind’; and, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’He answered, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind; and your neighbor as yourself.”

This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.In this is love, not that we loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the atoning sacrifice for our sins.
