| If anyone is rich in worldly possessions and sees a brother in need but refuses to open his heart, how can the love of God abide in him? | But if anyone has the world's goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God's love abide in him? |

| For all of us fall short in many ways. Anyone who never makes a mistake in speech has reached perfection and is able to control every part of his body. | For we all stumble in many ways. And if anyone does not stumble in what he says, he is a perfect man, able also to bridle his whole body. |
| In all of your prayers and entreaties, pray always in the Spirit.
