For they didn’t get the land in possession by their own sword, neither did their own arm save them; but your right hand, your arm, and the light of your face, because you were favorable to them.It was not by their sword that they won the land, nor did their arm bring them victory; it was your right hand, your arm, and the light of your face, for you loved them.

If a man prevails against one who is alone, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken.Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.
You therefore, my child, be strengthened in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.You then, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
