Word of God (2/3)

The Son radiates God’s own glory and expresses the very character of God, and he sustains everything by the mighty power of his command. When he had cleansed us from our sins, he sat down in the place of honor at the right hand of the majestic God in heaven. He is the reflection of God's glory and the exact imprint of God's very being, and he sustains all things by his powerful word. When he had made purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high.
So the Word became human and made his home among us. He was full of unfailing love and faithfulness. And we have seen his glory, the glory of the Father’s one and only Son.And the Word became flesh and lived among us, and we have seen his glory, the glory as of a father's only son, full of grace and truth.
But if you remain in me and my words remain in you, you may ask for anything you want, and it will be granted! If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask for whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.
Every word of God proves true. He is a shield to all who come to him for protection.Every word of God proves true; he is a shield to those who take refuge in him.
My child, pay attention to what I say. Listen carefully to my words. Don’t lose sight of them. Let them penetrate deep into your heart. My child, be attentive to my words; incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them escape from your sight; keep them within your heart.
Let the message about Christ, in all its richness, fill your lives. Teach and counsel each other with all the wisdom he gives. Sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs to God with thankful hearts.Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly; teach and admonish one another in all wisdom; and with gratitude in your hearts sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs to God.
God’s way is perfect. All the Lord’s promises prove true. He is a shield for all who look to him for protection. This God—his way is perfect; the promise of the Lord proves true; he is a shield for all who take refuge in him.
I have hidden your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you.I treasure your word in my heart, so that I may not sin against you.
As the Scriptures tell us, “Anyone who trusts in him will never be disgraced.”The scripture says, “No one who believes in him will be put to shame.”
The very essence of your words is truth; all your just regulations will stand forever. The sum of your word is truth; and every one of your righteous ordinances endures forever.
I am counting on the Lord; yes, I am counting on him. I have put my hope in his word.I wait for the Lord, my soul waits, and in his word I hope.
For you have been born again, but not to a life that will quickly end. Your new life will last forever because it comes from the eternal, living word of God.You have been born anew, not of perishable but of imperishable seed, through the living and enduring word of God.
He sent out his word and healed them, snatching them from the door of death. He sent out his word and healed them, and delivered them from destruction.
The instructions of the Lord are perfect, reviving the soul. The decrees of the Lord are trustworthy, making wise the simple. The law of the Lord is perfect, reviving the soul; the decrees of the Lord are sure, making wise the simple.
The seed that fell among the thorns represents those who hear God’s word, but all too quickly the message is crowded out by the worries of this life and the lure of wealth, so no fruit is produced. As for what was sown among thorns, this is the one who hears the word, but the cares of the world and the lure of wealth choke the word, and it yields nothing.
Therefore, tell them, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: No more delay! I will now do everything I have threatened. I, the Sovereign Lord, have spoken!’Therefore say to them, Thus says the Lord God: None of my words will be delayed any longer, but the word that I speak will be fulfilled, says the Lord God.
God will make this happen, for he who calls you is faithful. The one who calls you is faithful, and he will do this.
Get wisdom; develop good judgment. Don’t forget my words or turn away from them.Get wisdom; get insight: do not forget, nor turn away from the words of my mouth.
My child, listen to me and do as I say, and you will have a long, good life.Hear, my child, and accept my words, that the years of your life may be many.
You have already been pruned and purified by the message I have given you.You have already been cleansed by the word that I have spoken to you.
I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not even the smallest detail of God’s law will disappear until its purpose is achieved. For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth pass away, not one letter, not one stroke of a letter, will pass from the law until all is accomplished.
God created everything through him, and nothing was created except through him.All things came into being through him, and without him not one thing came into being. What has come into being.
