Chinese (traditional)For no prophecy ever came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke, being moved by the Holy Spirit. For prophecy never had its origin in the human will, but prophets, though human, spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. For no prophecy was ever produced by the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit. For prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit. Above all, you must realize that no prophecy in Scripture ever came from the prophet’s own understanding, or from human initiative. No, those prophets were moved by the Holy Spirit, and they spoke from God. Because no prophecy ever came by human will, but men and women moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God. No prophecy ever came from human initiative. Rather, when people spoke as messengers of God, they did so under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. For so has the Lord commanded us, saying,
‘I have set you as a light for the Gentiles,
that you should bring salvation to the uttermost parts of the earth.’ Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope in the power of the Holy Spirit.Next verse! With image
