Chinese (traditional)Do I derive any pleasure from the death of the wicked? asks the Lord God. Would I not rather rejoice to see them turn away from their wickedness and live? Do I take any pleasure in the death of the wicked? declares the Sovereign Lord. Rather, am I not pleased when they turn from their ways and live? Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? saith the Lord God: and not that he should return from his ways, and live? Have I any pleasure in the death of the wicked, declares the Lord God, and not rather that he should turn from his way and live? “Do I have any pleasure at all that the wicked should die?” says the Lord God, “and not that he should turn from his ways and live?” Do you think that I like to see wicked people die? says the Sovereign Lord. Of course not! I want them to turn from their wicked ways and live. Have I any pleasure in the death of the wicked, says the Lord God, and not rather that they should turn from their ways and live? “Have I any pleasure in the death of the wicked?” says the Lord Yahweh, “and not rather that he should return from his way, and live?” A fool spurns his father’s correction,
but whoever heeds admonition is prudent. They answered, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, and so too will your household.”Next verse! With image
