Amos 5 - NLT & NRSV

Now this is what the LORD says to the family of Israel:… Amos 5:4

Now this is what the Lord says to the family of Israel: “Come back to me and live!” Amos 5:4	For thus says the Lord to the house of Israel: Seek me and live. seeking life
Do what is good and run from evil so that you may live! Then the Lord God of Heaven’s Armies will be your helper, just as you have claimed. Amos 5:14	Seek good and not evil, that you may live; and so the Lord, the God of hosts, will be with you, just as you have said. holiness reward seeking

Instead, I want to see a mighty flood of justice, an endless river of righteous living. Amos 5:24	But let justice roll down like waters, and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream. law righteousness
