But you shall not eat flesh with its life, that is, its blood.

Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing?

What was left over was gathered up, twelve baskets of broken pieces. Then He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, He blessed and broke them, and gave them to the disciples to set before the multitude. So they all ate and were filled, and twelve baskets of the leftover fragments were taken up by them.
Therefore do not let anyone condemn you in matters of food and drink or of observing festivals, new moons, or sabbaths.
