Grace (2/2)

But these things don’t count; nor do I hold my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to fully testify to the Good News of the grace of God.But my life is worth nothing to me unless I use it for finishing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus—the work of telling others the Good News about the wonderful grace of God.
You therefore, my child, be strengthened in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.Timothy, my dear son, be strong through the grace that God gives you in Christ Jesus.
He who conceals his sins doesn’t prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy.People who conceal their sins will not prosper, but if they confess and turn from them, they will receive mercy.
The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, God’s love, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen.May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.
What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? May it never be! We who died to sin, how could we live in it any longer?Well then, should we keep on sinning so that God can show us more and more of his wonderful grace? Of course not! Since we have died to sin, how can we continue to live in it?
The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit.
Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.May God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ give you grace and peace.
I don’t reject the grace of God. For if righteousness is through the law, then Christ died for nothing!I do not treat the grace of God as meaningless. For if keeping the law could make us right with God, then there was no need for Christ to die.
For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness. I will remember their sins and lawless deeds no more. And I will forgive their wickedness, and I will never again remember their sins.
What is man, that you think of him? What is the son of man, that you care for him? What are mere mortals that you should think about them, human beings that you should care for them?
Nevertheless in your manifold mercies you didn’t make a full end of them, nor forsake them; for you are a gracious and merciful God.But in your great mercy, you did not destroy them completely or abandon them forever. What a gracious and merciful God you are!
For I say through the grace that was given me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of yourself more highly than you ought to think; but to think reasonably, as God has apportioned to each person a measure of faith.Because of the privilege and authority God has given me, I give each of you this warning: Don’t think you are better than you really are. Be honest in your evaluation of yourselves, measuring yourselves by the faith God has given us.
Because it has been granted to you on behalf of Christ, not only to believe in him, but also to suffer on his behalf. For you have been given not only the privilege of trusting in Christ but also the privilege of suffering for him.

Then Peter came and said to him, “Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Until seven times?” Jesus said to him, “I don’t tell you until seven times, but, until seventy times seven.”Then Peter came to him and asked, “Lord, how often should I forgive someone who sins against me? Seven times?” “No, not seven times,” Jesus replied, “but seventy times seven!”

Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts. Let him return to Yahweh, and he will have mercy on him, to our God, for he will freely pardon.Let the wicked change their ways and banish the very thought of doing wrong. Let them turn to the Lord that he may have mercy on them. Yes, turn to our God, for he will forgive generously.
Tear your heart and not your garments, and turn to Yahweh, your God; for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and abundant in loving kindness, and relents from sending calamity.“Don’t tear your clothing in your grief, but tear your hearts instead.” Return to the Lord your God, for he is merciful and compassionate, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love. He is eager to relent and not punish.
You husbands, in the same way, live with your wives according to knowledge, giving honor to the woman as to the weaker vessel, as also being joint heirs of the grace of life, that your prayers may not be hindered. In the same way, you husbands must give honor to your wives. Treat your wife with understanding as you live together. She may be weaker than you are, but she is your equal partner in God’s gift of new life. Treat her as you should so your prayers will not be hindered.
