Isaiah 51 - NASB & NRSV

I, I Myself, am He who comforts you. Who are you that you are afraid of mortal man, And of a son of man who is made like grass.

I, I am he who comforts you; why then are you afraid of a mere mortal who must die, a human being who fades like grass?

So then, does He who provides you with the Spirit and works miracles among you, do it by works of the Law, or by hearing with faith?

My son, comply with the commandment of your father,
And do not ignore the teaching of your mother.
