And he sat down, and called the twelve, and saith unto them, If any man desire to be first, the same shall be last of all, and servant of all. Mark 9:35	He sat down, called the twelve disciples over to him, and said, “Whoever wants to be first must take last place and be the servant of everyone else.” humility understanding serving
He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus. Revelation 22:20	He who is the faithful witness to all these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon!” Amen! Come, Lord Jesus! second coming

Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ. Philippians 1:6	And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns. second coming rebirth
Wherefore receive ye one another, as Christ also received us to the glory of God. Romans 15:7	Therefore, accept each other just as Christ has accepted you so that God will be given glory. worship neighbor
While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him. Matthew 17:5	But even as he spoke, a bright cloud overshadowed them, and a voice from the cloud said, “This is my dearly loved Son, who brings me great joy. Listen to him.” God joy
Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake. Luke 6:22	What blessings await you when people hate you and exclude you and mock you and curse you as evil because you follow the Son of Man. blessing persecution evil
That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death. Philippians 3:10	I want to know Christ and experience the mighty power that raised him from the dead. I want to suffer with him, sharing in his death. suffering resurrection
For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. Romans 5:6	When we were utterly helpless, Christ came at just the right time and died for us sinners. sacrifice transformation
But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. Jude 1:20-21	But you, dear friends, must build each other up in your most holy faith, pray in the power of the Holy Spirit, and await the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ, who will bring you eternal life. In this way, you will keep yourselves safe in God’s love. faith Holy Spirit love
If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love. John 15:10	When you obey my commandments, you remain in my love, just as I obey my Father’s commandments and remain in his love. law love
I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Philippians 3:14	I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us. reward calling
To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. Revelation 3:21	Those who are victorious will sit with me on my throne, just as I was victorious and sat with my Father on his throne. overcoming reward heaven
Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 1:7b	May God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ give you grace and peace. grace peace Father
Ye call me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for so I am. John 13:13	You call me ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord,’ and you are right, because that’s what I am.
Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you. John 20:21	Again he said, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I am sending you.” peace Father evangelism
For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ. 2 Corinthians 1:5	For the more we suffer for Christ, the more God will shower us with his comfort through Christ. suffering comforter encouragement
Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not. For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Matthew 24:26-27	So if someone tells you, ‘Look, the Messiah is out in the desert,’ don’t bother to go and look. Or, ‘Look, he is hiding here,’ don’t believe it! For as the lightning flashes in the east and shines to the west, so it will be when the Son of Man comes. second coming
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen. Philippians 4:23	May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. grace blessing
Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. 2 Timothy 2:1	Timothy, my dear son, be strong through the grace that God gives you in Christ Jesus. grace strength
I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain. Galatians 2:21	I do not treat the grace of God as meaningless. For if keeping the law could make us right with God, then there was no need for Christ to die. grace righteousness law
Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed. John 6:27	But don’t be so concerned about perishable things like food. Spend your energy seeking the eternal life that the Son of Man can give you. For God the Father has given me the seal of his approval. eternal life food
For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures. 1 Corinthians 15:3-4	I passed on to you what was most important and what had also been passed on to me. Christ died for our sins, just as the Scriptures said. He was buried, and he was raised from the dead on the third day, just as the Scriptures said. sin sacrifice resurrection
God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord. 1 Corinthians 1:9	God will do this, for he is faithful to do what he says, and he has invited you into partnership with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. calling reliability God
Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. Matthew 10:34	Don’t imagine that I came to bring peace to the earth! I came not to bring peace, but a sword. peace world
So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God. Mark 16:19	When the Lord Jesus had finished talking with them, he was taken up into heaven and sat down in the place of honor at God’s right hand. ascension heaven

And said unto them, Whosoever shall receive this child in my name receiveth me: and whosoever shall receive me receiveth him that sent me: for he that is least among you all, the same shall be great.

Then he said to them, “Anyone who welcomes a little child like this on my behalf welcomes me, and anyone who welcomes me also welcomes my Father who sent me. Whoever is the least among you is the greatest.”
