He who is the faithful witness to all these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon!” Amen! Come, Lord Jesus! Revelation 22:20	He who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming soon.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus! second coming

And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns. Therefore, accept each other just as Christ has accepted you so that God will be given glory. Romans 15:7	Therefore welcome one another as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God. worship neighbor

What blessings await you when people hate you and exclude you and mock you and curse you as evil because you follow the Son of Man. Luke 6:22	Blessed are you when people hate you and when they exclude you and revile you and spurn your name as evil, on account of the Son of Man! blessing persecution evil
I want to know Christ and experience the mighty power that raised him from the dead. I want to suffer with him, sharing in his death. Philippians 3:10	That I may know him and the power of his resurrection, and may share his sufferings, becoming like him in his death. suffering resurrection
When we were utterly helpless, Christ came at just the right time and died for us sinners. Romans 5:6	For while we were still weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. sacrifice transformation
But you, dear friends, must build each other up in your most holy faith, pray in the power of the Holy Spirit, and await the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ, who will bring you eternal life. In this way, you will keep yourselves safe in God’s love. I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us. Philippians 3:14	I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. reward calling
Those who are victorious will sit with me on my throne, just as I was victorious and sat with my Father on his throne. Revelation 3:21	The one who conquers, I will grant him to sit with me on my throne, as I also conquered and sat down with my Father on his throne. overcoming reward heaven

For the more we suffer for Christ, the more God will shower us with his comfort through Christ. 2 Corinthians 1:5	For as we share abundantly in Christ's sufferings, so through Christ we share abundantly in comfort too. suffering comforter encouragement
So if someone tells you, ‘Look, the Messiah is out in the desert,’ don’t bother to go and look. Or, ‘Look, he is hiding here,’ don’t believe it! For as the lightning flashes in the east and shines to the west, so it will be when the Son of Man comes. Matthew 24:26-27	So, if they say to you, ‘Look, he is in the wilderness,’ do not go out. If they say, ‘Look, he is in the inner rooms,’ do not believe it. For as the lightning comes from the east and shines as far as the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. second coming

Timothy, my dear son, be strong through the grace that God gives you in Christ Jesus. 2 Timothy 2:1	You then, my child, be strengthened by the grace that is in Christ Jesus. grace strength
I do not treat the grace of God as meaningless. For if keeping the law could make us right with God, then there was no need for Christ to die. Galatians 2:21	I do not nullify the grace of God, for if righteousness were through the law, then Christ died for no purpose. grace righteousness law
But don’t be so concerned about perishable things like food. Spend your energy seeking the eternal life that the Son of Man can give you. For God the Father has given me the seal of his approval. John 6:27	Do not work for the food that perishes, but for the food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give to you. For on him God the Father has set his seal. eternal life food
I passed on to you what was most important and what had also been passed on to me. Christ died for our sins, just as the Scriptures said. He was buried, and he was raised from the dead on the third day, just as the Scriptures said. 1 Corinthians 15:3-4	For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures. sin sacrifice resurrection

Don’t imagine that I came to bring peace to the earth! I came not to bring peace, but a sword. Matthew 10:34	Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I have not come to bring peace, but a sword. peace world
When the Lord Jesus had finished talking with them, he was taken up into heaven and sat down in the place of honor at God’s right hand. Mark 16:19	So then the Lord Jesus, after he had spoken to them, was taken up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God. ascension heaven

Then he said to them, “Anyone who welcomes a little child like this on my behalf welcomes me, and anyone who welcomes me also welcomes my Father who sent me. Whoever is the least among you is the greatest.”

And said to them, “Whoever receives this child in my name receives me, and whoever receives me receives him who sent me. For he who is least among you all is the one who is great.”
