But we are citizens of heaven, where the Lord Jesus Christ lives. And we are eagerly waiting for him to return as our Savior. Philippians 3:20	But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. salvation heaven

What blessings await you when people hate you and exclude you and mock you and curse you as evil because you follow the Son of Man. And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns. But don’t be so concerned about perishable things like food. Spend your energy seeking the eternal life that the Son of Man can give you. For God the Father has given me the seal of his approval. John 6:27	Do not work for the food that perishes, but for the food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give to you. For on him God the Father has set his seal. eternal life food
For God wanted them to know that the riches and glory of Christ are for you Gentiles, too. And this is the secret: Christ lives in you. This gives you assurance of sharing his glory. Colossians 1:27	To them God chose to make known how great among the Gentiles are the riches of the glory of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. evangelism hope
Don’t imagine that I came to bring peace to the earth! I came not to bring peace, but a sword. Matthew 10:34	Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I have not come to bring peace, but a sword. peace world

But God had mercy on me so that Christ Jesus could use me as a prime example of his great patience with even the worst sinners. Then others will realize that they, too, can believe in him and receive eternal life. 1 Timothy 1:16	But I received mercy for this reason, that in me, as the foremost, Jesus Christ might display his perfect patience as an example to those who were to believe in him for eternal life. eternal life patience
For the more we suffer for Christ, the more God will shower us with his comfort through Christ. 2 Corinthians 1:5	For as we share abundantly in Christ's sufferings, so through Christ we share abundantly in comfort too. suffering comforter encouragement
Those who are victorious will sit with me on my throne, just as I was victorious and sat with my Father on his throne. Revelation 3:21	The one who conquers, I will grant him to sit with me on my throne, as I also conquered and sat down with my Father on his throne. overcoming reward heaven

Look! He comes with the clouds of heaven. And everyone will see him— even those who pierced him. And all the nations of the world will mourn for him. Yes! Amen! But now Jesus, our High Priest, has been given a ministry that is far superior to the old priesthood, for he is the one who mediates for us a far better covenant with God, based on better promises. Father, I want these whom you have given me to be with me where I am. Then they can see all the glory you gave me because you loved me even before the world began!
