| Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. | But I tell you the truth: it is to your advantage that I am leaving; for if I do not leave, the Helper will not come to you; but if I go, I will send Him to you. |
| And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment. | And He, when He comes, will convict the world regarding sin, and righteousness, and judgment. |

| I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father. | I came forth from the Father and have come into the world; again, I am leaving the world and going to the Father. |
| These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. | These things I have spoken to you so that in Me you may have peace.
