Law (2/5)

The commandment we have from him is this: those who love God must love their brothers and sisters also. And he has given us this command: Anyone who loves God must also love their brother and sister.
For Christ is the end of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes.Christ is the culmination of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes.
If you love me, you will keep my commandments. If you love me, keep my commands.
For sin will have no dominion over you, since you are not under law but under grace. For sin shall no longer be your master, because you are not under the law, but under grace.
What then should we say? That the law is sin? By no means! Yet, if it had not been for the law, I would not have known sin. I would not have known what it is to covet if the law had not said, “You shall not covet.”What shall we say, then? Is the law sinful? Certainly not! Nevertheless, I would not have known what sin was had it not been for the law. For I would not have known what coveting really was if the law had not said, “You shall not covet.”
The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.
And keep the charge of the Lord your God, walking in his ways and keeping his statutes, his commandments, his ordinances, and his testimonies, as it is written in the law of Moses, so that you may prosper in all that you do and wherever you turn.Observe what the Lord your God requires: Walk in obedience to him, and keep his decrees and commands, his laws and regulations, as written in the Law of Moses. Do this so that you may prosper in all you do and wherever you go.
Do not judge, so that you may not be judged.Do not judge, or you too will be judged.
The commandments, “You shall not commit adultery; You shall not murder; You shall not steal; You shall not covet”; and any other commandment, are summed up in this word, “Love your neighbor as yourself.”The commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not covet,” and whatever other command there may be, are summed up in this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”
He declared to you his covenant, which he charged you to observe, that is, the ten commandments; and he wrote them on two stone tablets. He declared to you his covenant, the Ten Commandments, which he commanded you to follow and then wrote them on two stone tablets.
Great peace have those who love your law; nothing can make them stumble.Great peace have those who love your law, and nothing can make them stumble.
You shall not make gods of silver alongside me, nor shall you make for yourselves gods of gold.Do not make any gods to be alongside me; do not make for yourselves gods of silver or gods of gold.
If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father's commandments and abide in his love.If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love.
Well then, does God supply you with the Spirit and work miracles among you by your doing the works of the law, or by your believing what you heard? So again I ask, does God give you his Spirit and work miracles among you by the works of the law, or by your believing what you heard?
All who obey his commandments abide in him, and he abides in them. And by this we know that he abides in us, by the Spirit that he has given us.The one who keeps God’s commands lives in him, and he in them. And this is how we know that he lives in us: We know it by the Spirit he gave us.
Love does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore, love is the fulfilling of the law.Love does no harm to a neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.
I delight in the way of your decrees as much as in all riches.I rejoice in following your statutes as one rejoices in great riches.
We have sinned and done wrong, acted wickedly and rebelled, turning aside from your commandments and ordinances. We have sinned and done wrong. We have been wicked and have rebelled; we have turned away from your commands and laws.
You must diligently keep the commandments of the Lord your God, and his decrees, and his statutes that he has commanded you.Be sure to keep the commands of the Lord your God and the stipulations and decrees he has given you.
Let it be known to you therefore, my brothers, that through this man forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you; by this Jesus everyone who believes is set free from all those sins from which you could not be freed by the law of Moses. Therefore, my friends, I want you to know that through Jesus the forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you. Through him everyone who believes is set free from every sin, a justification you were not able to obtain under the law of Moses.
The end of the matter; all has been heard. Fear God, and keep his commandments; for that is the whole duty of everyone. Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter: Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the duty of all mankind.
For this is the message you have heard from the beginning, that we should love one another. For this is the message you heard from the beginning: We should love one another.
I will never forget your precepts, for by them you have given me life.I will never forget your precepts, for by them you have preserved my life.
Praise the Lord! Happy are those who fear the Lord, who greatly delight in his commandments.Praise the Lord. Blessed are those who fear the Lord, who find great delight in his commands.
The wise of heart will heed commandments, but a babbling fool will come to ruin. The wise in heart accept commands, but a chattering fool comes to ruin.

Turn my heart to your decrees, and not to selfish gain.Turn my heart toward your statutes and not toward selfish gain.
