For the Lord does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”

All these evil things come from within and defile the man.”And He said, “What comes out of a man, that defiles a man. For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lewdness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness. All these evil things come from within and defile a man.”

God chose the lowly things of the world, and the things that are despised, and the things that don’t exist, that he might bring to nothing the things that exist, that no flesh should boast before God.And the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are, that no flesh should glory in His presence.

Charge those who are rich in this present age that they not be arrogant, nor have their hope set on the uncertainty of riches, but on the living God, who richly provides us with everything to enjoy.Command those who are rich in this present age not to be haughty, nor to trust in uncertain riches but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy.
If I give away all my goods to feed the poor, and if I give my body to be burned, but don’t have love, it profits me nothing.And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing.
According to their pasture, so were they filled; they were filled, and their heart was exalted. Therefore they have forgotten me.When they had pasture, they were filled; They were filled and their heart was exalted; Therefore they forgot Me.
