Proverbs 13 - ESV & NASB

Whoever guards his mouth preserves his life; he who opens wide his lips comes to ruin.One who guards his mouth protects his life; One who opens wide his lips comes to ruin.
The ransom of a man's life is his wealth, but a poor man hears no threat.The ransom of a person’s life is his wealth, But the poor hears no rebuke.
By insolence comes nothing but strife, but with those who take advice is wisdom.Through overconfidence comes nothing but strife, But wisdom is with those who receive counsel.
Wealth gained hastily will dwindle, but whoever gathers little by little will increase it.Wealth obtained from nothing dwindles, But one who gathers by labor increases it.
