12 Bible Verses about Rest - ESV & NIV

Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
For God alone my soul waits in silence; from him comes my salvation.Truly my soul finds rest in God; my salvation comes from him.
Thus says the Lord: Stand by the roads, and look, and ask for the ancient paths, where the good way is; and walk in it, and find rest for your souls. But they said, ‘We will not walk in it.’This is what the Lord says: Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls. But you said, ‘We will not walk in it.’
In peace I will both lie down and sleep; for you alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety. In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety.
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters.
He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say to the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”
Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good! Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him!Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.
Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.
The end of all things is at hand; therefore be self-controlled and sober-minded for the sake of your prayers. The end of all things is near. Therefore be alert and of sober mind so that you may pray.
Observe the Sabbath day, to keep it holy, as the Lord your God commanded you. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the Lord your God. On it you shall not do any work, you or your son or your daughter or your male servant or your female servant, or your ox or your donkey or any of your livestock, or the sojourner who is within your gates, that your male servant and your female servant may rest as well as you.Observe the Sabbath day by keeping it holy, as the Lord your God has commanded you. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is a sabbath to the Lord your God. On it you shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son or daughter, nor your male or female servant, nor your ox, your donkey or any of your animals, nor any foreigner residing in your towns, so that your male and female servants may rest, as you do.
So then, there remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God, for whoever has entered God's rest has also rested from his works as God did from his. There remains, then, a Sabbath-rest for the people of God; for anyone who enters God’s rest also rests from their works, just as God did from his.
Let us therefore strive to enter that rest, so that no one may fall by the same sort of disobedience.Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will perish by following their example of disobedience.
