He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. There remains therefore a Sabbath rest for the people of God. Let’s therefore give diligence to enter into that rest, lest anyone fall after the same example of disobedience.Let us therefore strive to enter that rest, so that no one may fall by the same sort of disobedience.
But the end of all things is near. Therefore be of sound mind, self-controlled, and sober in prayer.The end of all things is at hand; therefore be self-controlled and sober-minded for the sake of your prayers.
Observe the Sabbath day, to keep it holy, as Yahweh your God commanded you. You shall labor six days, and do all your work; but the seventh day is a Sabbath to Yahweh your God, in which you shall not do any work— neither you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your ox, nor your donkey, nor any of your livestock, nor your stranger who is within your gates; that your male servant and your female servant may rest as well as you.Observe the Sabbath day, to keep it holy, as the Lord your God commanded you. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the Lord your God. On it you shall not do any work, you or your son or your daughter or your male servant or your female servant, or your ox or your donkey or any of your livestock, or the sojourner who is within your gates, that your male servant and your female servant may rest as well as you.
My soul, wait in silence for God alone, for my expectation is from him.For God alone, O my soul, wait in silence, for my hope is from him.
