12 Bible Verses about Rest - KJV & ESV

Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from him cometh my salvation. For God alone my soul waits in silence; from him comes my salvation.
Thus saith the Lord, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein. Thus says the Lord: Stand by the roads, and look, and ask for the ancient paths, where the good way is; and walk in it, and find rest for your souls. But they said, ‘We will not walk in it.’
I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, Lord, only makest me dwell in safety. In peace I will both lie down and sleep; for you alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety.
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters.
He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say to the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”
O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good! Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him!
Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer. The end of all things is at hand; therefore be self-controlled and sober-minded for the sake of your prayers.
Keep the sabbath day to sanctify it, as the Lord thy God hath commanded thee. Six days thou shalt labour, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, nor thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thine ox, nor thine ass, nor any of thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates; that thy manservant and thy maidservant may rest as well as thou.Observe the Sabbath day, to keep it holy, as the Lord your God commanded you. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the Lord your God. On it you shall not do any work, you or your son or your daughter or your male servant or your female servant, or your ox or your donkey or any of your livestock, or the sojourner who is within your gates, that your male servant and your female servant may rest as well as you.
There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.So then, there remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God, for whoever has entered God's rest has also rested from his works as God did from his.
Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.Let us therefore strive to enter that rest, so that no one may fall by the same sort of disobedience.

It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.
