There is a way which seems right to a person, But its end is the way of death.There is a way that seems right to a person, but its end is the way to death.
In You, Lord, I have taken refuge; Let me never be put to shame; In Your righteousness rescue me.In you, O Lord, I seek refuge; do not let me ever be put to shame; in your righteousness deliver me.
For God is not unjust so as to forget your work and the love which you have shown toward His name, by having served and by still serving the saints.For God is not unjust; he will not overlook your work and the love that you showed for his sake in serving the saints, as you still do.
The lips of the righteous know what is acceptable, But the mouth of the wicked, what is perverted.The lips of the righteous know what is acceptable, but the mouth of the wicked what is perverse.
Now go and learn what this means: ‘I desire compassion, rather than sacrifice,’ for I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners.Go and learn what this means, ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice.’ For I have come to call not the righteous but sinners.
I will rejoice greatly in the Lord, My soul will be joyful in my God; For He has clothed me with garments of salvation, He has wrapped me with a robe of righteousness, As a groom puts on a turban, And as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, my whole being shall exult in my God; for he has clothed me with the garments of salvation, he has covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decks himself with a garland, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.
Do not envy a violent person, And do not choose any of his ways. For the devious are an abomination to the Lord; But He is intimate with the upright.Do not envy the violent and do not choose any of their ways; for the perverse are an abomination to the Lord, but the upright are in his confidence.
And He Himself brought our sins in His body up on the cross, so that we might die to sin and live for righteousness; by His wounds you were healed.He himself bore our sins in his body on the cross, so that, free from sins, we might live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed.
This is what the Lord of armies has said: ‘Dispense true justice and practice kindness and compassion each to his brother; and do not oppress the widow or the orphan, the stranger or the poor; and do not devise evil in your hearts against one another.’Thus says the Lord of hosts: Render true judgments, show kindness and mercy to one another; do not oppress the widow, the orphan, the alien, or the poor; and do not devise evil in your hearts against one another.
All things are permitted for me, but not all things are of benefit. All things are permitted for me, but I will not be mastered by anything.“All things are lawful for me,” but not all things are beneficial. “All things are lawful for me,” but I will not be dominated by anything.
The Lord is righteous in all His ways, And kind in all His works.The Lord is just in all his ways, and kind in all his doings.
Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.Therefore, since we are justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.You are the light of the world. A city built on a hill cannot be hid.
Hear my prayer, Lord, Listen to my pleadings! Answer me in Your faithfulness, in Your righteousness!Hear my prayer, O Lord; give ear to my supplications in your faithfulness; answer me in your righteousness.
Vindicate the weak and fatherless; Do justice to the afflicted and destitute.Give justice to the weak and the orphan; maintain the right of the lowly and the destitute.

Therefore the Lord longs to be gracious to you, And therefore He waits on high to have compassion on you. But the one who did not know it, and committed acts deserving of a beating, will receive only a few blows. From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and to whom they entrusted much, of him they will ask all the more.But the one who did not know and did what deserved a beating will receive a light beating. From everyone to whom much has been given, much will be required; and from the one to whom much has been entrusted, even more will be demanded.
We are Jews by nature and not sinners from the Gentiles; nevertheless, knowing that a person is not justified by works of the Law but through faith in Christ Jesus, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, so that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by works of the Law; since by works of the Law no flesh will be justified.We ourselves are Jews by birth and not Gentile sinners; yet we know that a person is justified not by the works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ. And we have come to believe in Christ Jesus, so that we might be justified by faith in Christ, and not by doing the works of the law, because no one will be justified by the works of the law.
At night my soul longs for You, Indeed, my spirit within me seeks You diligently; For when the earth experiences Your judgments, The inhabitants of the world learn righteousness.My soul yearns for you in the night, my spirit within me earnestly seeks you. For when your judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world learn righteousness.
Everyone who practices sin also practices lawlessness; and sin is lawlessness.Everyone who commits sin is guilty of lawlessness; sin is lawlessness.
But for you who fear My name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its wings; and you will go forth and frolic like calves from the stall.But for you who revere my name the sun of righteousness shall rise, with healing in its wings. You shall go out leaping like calves from the stall.
And it will be righteousness for us if we are careful to follow all this commandment before the Lord our God, just as He commanded us.If we diligently observe this entire commandment before the Lord our God, as he has commanded us, we will be in the right.
Blessings are on the head of the righteous, But the mouth of the wicked conceals violence.Blessings are on the head of the righteous, but the mouth of the wicked conceals violence.
The tongue of the righteous is like choice silver, The heart of the wicked is worth little.The tongue of the righteous is choice silver; the mind of the wicked is of little worth.

The Lord is good and upright; Therefore He instructs sinners in the way. He leads the humble in justice, And He teaches the humble His way.Good and upright is the Lord; therefore he instructs sinners in the way. He leads the humble in what is right, and teaches the humble his way.
