Righteousness (4/5)

Blessed are those whose way is blameless, who walk in accord with the law of the Lord.Blessed are those whose way is blameless, Who walk in the Law of the Lord.
The tongue of the just man is like pure silver; the heart of the wicked is without worth. The tongue of the righteous is like choice silver, The heart of the wicked is worth little.
I do not set aside the grace of God, for if justification comes through the Law, then Christ died for nothing.I do not nullify the grace of God, for if righteousness comes through the Law, then Christ died needlessly.
For no one can be regarded as justified in the sight of God by keeping the Law. The Law brings only the consciousness of sin.Because by the works of the Law none of mankind will be justified in His sight; for through the Law comes knowledge of sin.
Come to your senses and sin no more. For some of you have no knowledge of God. I say this to your shame.Sober up morally and stop sinning, for some have no knowledge of God. I say this to your shame.
Let those who are wise understand these words, and let the prudent acknowledge them. For straight are the ways of the Lord; the upright walk in them, but sinners stumble.Whoever is wise, let him understand these things; Whoever is discerning, let him know them. For the ways of the Lord are right, And the righteous will walk in them, But wrongdoers will stumble in them.
He reserves his wisdom for the upright and is a shield to those who lead blameless lives. He stores up sound wisdom for the upright; He is a shield to those who walk in integrity.
Train a child in the way he should go, and he will not deviate from it, even in old age.Train up a child in the way he should go, Even when he grows older he will not abandon it.
And yet he is aware of everywhere I go; if he were to test me, I would emerge like pure gold. My footsteps have not strayed from the path he established; I have followed his way and never turned aside. But He knows the way I take; When He has put me to the test, I will come out as gold. My foot has held on to His path; I have kept His way and not turned aside.
Then Peter addressed them: “I now understand how true it is that God has no favorites, but that in every nation all those who fear God and do what is right are acceptable to him.”Opening his mouth, Peter said: “I most certainly understand now that God is not one to show partiality, but in every nation the one who fears Him and does what is right is acceptable to Him.”
I have instructed you in the ways of wisdom and led you along the paths of righteousness.I have instructed you in the way of wisdom; I have led you in upright paths.
The righteous is remembered with blessings, but the name of the wicked fades away. The mentioning of the righteous is a blessing, But the name of the wicked will rot.
The hope of the righteous brings them joy, but the expectations of the wicked are frustrated. The hope of the righteous is gladness, But the expectation of the wicked perishes.
As we proceed in the path of your judgments, we wait for you, O Lord; your name and your renown are all that our heart desires.Indeed, while following the way of Your judgments, Lord, We have waited for You eagerly; Your name, and remembering You, is the desire of our souls.
Nor should you present any part of your body as an instrument for wickedness leading to sin. Rather, present yourselves to God as having been raised from death to life and the parts of your body to God as instruments for righteousness. And do not go on presenting the parts of your body to sin as instruments of unrighteousness; but present yourselves to God as those who are alive from the dead, and your body’s parts as instruments of righteousness for God.
The proud man’s heart is not upright, but the righteous man will live because of his faith.Behold, as for the impudent one, His soul is not right within him; But the righteous one will live by his faith.
For light produces all goodness and righteousness and truth. For the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness, and truth.
He is a rock, his deeds are perfect, and all of his ways are just. He is a God of truth who does no wrong; he is just and upright. The Rock! His work is perfect, For all His ways are just; A God of faithfulness and without injustice, Righteous and just is He.
I have fought the good fight; I have finished the race; I have kept the faith. Now waiting for me is the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will award to me on that Day—and not only to me, but to all those who have eagerly longed for his appearance.I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith; in the future there is reserved for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day; and not only to me, but also to all who have loved His appearing.
Truly, you bless the righteous, O Lord; you surround them with your goodwill as with a shield. For You bless the righteous person, Lord, You surround him with favor as with a shield.
I take no pleasure in the death of anyone, says the Lord God. Repent and live!“For I take no pleasure in the death of anyone who dies,” declares the Lord God. “Therefore, repent and live!”
If you listen to the voice of the Lord, your God, and you do what is right in his sight, if you listen to his ordinances and observe all of his laws, I will not bring upon you any of the diseases that I brought upon the Egyptians, for I am the Lord, who heals you.If you will listen carefully to the voice of the Lord your God, and do what is right in His sight, and listen to His commandments, and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have put on the Egyptians; for I, the Lord, am your healer.
For he guards the paths of justice and keeps watch over the way of his faithful ones.Guarding the paths of justice, And He watches over the way of His godly ones.
Let your eyes look straight ahead; fix your gaze on what lies before you.Let your eyes look directly ahead And let your gaze be fixed straight in front of you.
The one who provides seed for sowing and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed and increase the harvest of your righteousness. Now He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness.

Riches will be of no avail on the day of wrath, but righteousness delivers from death.Riches do not benefit on the day of wrath, But righteousness rescues from death.
