You and I are Jews by birth, not ‘sinners’ like the Gentiles. Yet we know that a person is made right with God by faith in Jesus Christ, not by obeying the law. And we have believed in Christ Jesus, so that we might be made right with God because of our faith in Christ, not because we have obeyed the law. For no one will ever be made right with God by obeying the law. Galatians 2:15-16	We are Jews by nature and not sinners from the Gentiles; nevertheless, knowing that a person is not justified by works of the Law but through faith in Christ Jesus, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, so that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by works of the Law; since by works of the Law no flesh will be justified. faith law

For no one can ever be made right with God by doing what the law commands. The law simply shows us how sinful we are. Romans 3:20	Because by the works of the Law none of mankind will be justified in His sight; for through the Law comes knowledge of sin. sin law
The Lord is good and does what is right; he shows the proper path to those who go astray. He leads the humble in doing right, teaching them his way. Psalm 25:8-9	The Lord is good and upright; Therefore He instructs sinners in the way. He leads the humble in justice, And He teaches the humble His way. humility learning
But for you who fear my name, the Sun of Righteousness will rise with healing in his wings. And you will go free, leaping with joy like calves let out to pasture. Malachi 4:2	But for you who fear My name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its wings; and you will go forth and frolic like calves from the stall. joy healing awe
Joyful are people of integrity, who follow the instructions of the Lord. Psalm 119:1	Blessed are those whose way is blameless, Who walk in the Law of the Lord. law life blameless
But he knows where I am going. And when he tests me, I will come out as pure as gold. For I have stayed on God’s paths; I have followed his ways and not turned aside. Job 23:10-11	But He knows the way I take; When He has put me to the test, I will come out as gold. My foot has held on to His path; I have kept His way and not turned aside. blameless

Let those who are wise understand these things. Let those with discernment listen carefully. The paths of the Lord are true and right, and righteous people live by walking in them. But in those paths sinners stumble and fall. Hosea 14:9	Whoever is wise, let him understand these things; Whoever is discerning, let him know them. For the ways of the Lord are right, And the righteous will walk in them, But wrongdoers will stumble in them. wisdom understanding
We have happy memories of the godly, but the name of a wicked person rots away. Proverbs 10:7	The mentioning of the righteous is a blessing, But the name of the wicked will rot. sin blessing
The hopes of the godly result in happiness, but the expectations of the wicked come to nothing. Proverbs 10:28	The hope of the righteous is gladness, But the expectation of the wicked perishes. hope patience joy
Direct your children onto the right path, and when they are older, they will not leave it. Proverbs 22:6	Train up a child in the way he should go, Even when he grows older he will not abandon it. family children
I will teach you wisdom’s ways and lead you in straight paths. Proverbs 4:11	I have instructed you in the way of wisdom; I have led you in upright paths. wisdom learning
Lord, we show our trust in you by obeying your laws; our heart’s desire is to glorify your name. Isaiah 26:8	Indeed, while following the way of Your judgments, Lord, We have waited for You eagerly; Your name, and remembering You, is the desire of our souls. law desires
He is the Rock; his deeds are perfect. Everything he does is just and fair. He is a faithful God who does no wrong; how just and upright he is! Deuteronomy 32:4	The Rock! His work is perfect, For all His ways are just; A God of faithfulness and without injustice, Righteous and just is He. holiness reliability
He guards the paths of the just and protects those who are faithful to him. Proverbs 2:8	Guarding the paths of justice, And He watches over the way of His godly ones. protection obedience faithfulness
For you bless the godly, O Lord; you surround them with your shield of love. Psalm 5:12	For You bless the righteous person, Lord, You surround him with favor as with a shield. blessing protection
For God is the one who provides seed for the farmer and then bread to eat. In the same way, he will provide and increase your resources and then produce a great harvest of generosity in you. 2 Corinthians 9:10	Now He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness. food giving generosity
Look at the proud! They trust in themselves, and their lives are crooked. But the righteous will live by their faithfulness to God. Habakkuk 2:4	Behold, as for the impudent one, His soul is not right within him; But the righteous one will live by his faith. life reliability faith
Look straight ahead, and fix your eyes on what lies before you. Proverbs 4:25	Let your eyes look directly ahead And let your gaze be fixed straight in front of you. honesty reliability
I don’t want you to die, says the Sovereign Lord. Turn back and live! Ezekiel 18:32	“For I take no pleasure in the death of anyone who dies,” declares the Lord God. “Therefore, repent and live!” conversion death eternal life
If you will listen carefully to the voice of the Lord your God and do what is right in his sight, obeying his commands and keeping all his decrees, then I will not make you suffer any of the diseases I sent on the Egyptians; for I am the Lord who heals you. And now the prize awaits me—the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give me on the day of his return. Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and glorify and honor the King of heaven. All his acts are just and true, and he is able to humble the proud. Riches won’t help on the day of judgment, but right living can save you from death. Proverbs 11:4	Riches do not benefit on the day of wrath, But righteousness rescues from death. money materialism punishment

Do not let any part of your body become an instrument of evil to serve sin. Instead, give yourselves completely to God, for you were dead, but now you have new life. So use your whole body as an instrument to do what is right for the glory of God.

And do not go on presenting the parts of your body to sin as instruments of unrighteousness; but present yourselves to God as those who are alive from the dead, and your body’s parts as instruments of righteousness for God.
