People with understanding control their anger; a hot temper shows great foolishness. | One who is slow to anger has great understanding; But one who is quick-tempered exalts foolishness. |
Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. So the Lord must wait for you to come to him so he can show you his love and compassion. For the Lord is a faithful God. But God had mercy on me so that Christ Jesus could use me as a prime example of his great patience with even the worst sinners.
