Bible Verses about the Second coming

You also must be ready all the time, for the Son of Man will come when least expected. For this reason you must be ready as well; for the Son of Man is coming at an hour when you do not think He will.
Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near. And let’s consider how to encourage one another in love and good deeds, not abandoning our own meeting together, as is the habit of some people, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near.
He who is the faithful witness to all these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon!” Amen! Come, Lord Jesus! He who testifies to these things says, “Yes, I am coming quickly.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.
Look, I am coming soon, bringing my reward with me to repay all people according to their deeds.Behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to reward each one as his work deserves.
So you, too, must keep watch! For you don’t know what day your Lord is coming. Therefore be on the alert, for you do not know which day your Lord is coming.
The end of the world is coming soon. Therefore, be earnest and disciplined in your prayers. The end of all things is near; therefore, be of sound judgment and sober spirit for the purpose of prayer.
Look! He comes with the clouds of heaven. And everyone will see him— even those who pierced him. And all the nations of the world will mourn for him. Yes! Amen!Behold, He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him; and all the tribes of the earth will mourn over Him. So it is to be. Amen.
I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take away your crown.I am coming quickly; hold firmly to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.
“I am the Alpha and the Omega—the beginning and the end,” says the Lord God. “I am the one who is, who always was, and who is still to come—the Almighty One.”“I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”
As they strained to see him rising into heaven, two white-robed men suddenly stood among them. “Men of Galilee,” they said, “why are you standing here staring into heaven? Jesus has been taken from you into heaven, but someday he will return from heaven in the same way you saw him go!”And as they were gazing intently into the sky while He was going, then behold, two men in white clothing stood beside them, and they said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into the sky? This Jesus, who has been taken up from you into heaven, will come in the same way as you have watched Him go into heaven.”
And now, dear children, remain in fellowship with Christ so that when he returns, you will be full of courage and not shrink back from him in shame. Now, little children, remain in Him, so that when He appears, we may have confidence and not draw back from Him in shame at His coming.
Beware of false prophets who come disguised as harmless sheep but are really vicious wolves.Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves.
But you must not forget this one thing, dear friends: A day is like a thousand years to the Lord, and a thousand years is like a day.But do not let this one fact escape your notice, beloved, that with the Lord one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years like one day.
And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns. For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work among you will complete it by the day of Christ Jesus.
So if someone tells you, ‘Look, the Messiah is out in the desert,’ don’t bother to go and look. Or, ‘Look, he is hiding here,’ don’t believe it! For as the lightning flashes in the east and shines to the west, so it will be when the Son of Man comes. So if they say to you, ‘Behold, He is in the wilderness,’ do not go out; or, ‘Behold, He is in the inner rooms,’ do not believe them. For just as the lightning comes from the east and flashes as far as the west, so will the coming of the Son of Man be.
And do not bring sorrow to God’s Holy Spirit by the way you live. Remember, he has identified you as his own, guaranteeing that you will be saved on the day of redemption.Do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.
For the Lord himself will come down from heaven with a commanding shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet call of God. First, the believers who have died will rise from their graves. Then, together with them, we who are still alive and remain on the earth will be caught up in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. Then we will be with the Lord forever. For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive, who remain, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord.
Don’t be fooled by what they say. For that day will not come until there is a great rebellion against God and the man of lawlessness is revealed—the one who brings destruction. He will exalt himself and defy everything that people call god and every object of worship. He will even sit in the temple of God, claiming that he himself is God.No one is to deceive you in any way! For it will not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, who opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, displaying himself as being God.
