The hopes of the godly result in happiness, but the expectations of the wicked come to nothing. Proverbs 10:28	The hope of the righteous will be gladness, But the expectation of the wicked will perish. hope patience joy
For we will be counted as righteous when we obey all the commands the Lord our God has given us. Deuteronomy 6:25	Then it will be righteousness for us, if we are careful to observe all these commandments before the Lord our God, as He has commanded us. obedience law

Let the wicked change their ways and banish the very thought of doing wrong. Let them turn to the Lord that he may have mercy on them. Yes, turn to our God, for he will forgive generously.

Let the wicked forsake his way, And the unrighteous man his thoughts; Let him return to the Lord, And He will have mercy on him; And to our God, For He will abundantly pardon.
