The memory of the righteous is a blessing, but the name of the wicked will rot. Proverbs 10:7	We have happy memories of the godly, but the name of a wicked person rots away. sin blessing
For “no human being will be justified in his sight” by deeds prescribed by the law, for through the law comes the knowledge of sin. Romans 3:20	For no one can ever be made right with God by doing what the law commands. The law simply shows us how sinful we are. sin law
My soul yearns for you in the night, my spirit within me earnestly seeks you. For when your judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world learn righteousness. No longer present your members to sin as instruments of wickedness, but present yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life, and present your members to God as instruments of righteousness. He saved us, not because of any works of righteousness that we had done, but according to his mercy, through the water of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit. Guarding the paths of justice and preserving the way of his faithful ones. Proverbs 2:8	He guards the paths of the just and protects those who are faithful to him. protection obedience faithfulness
The hope of the righteous ends in gladness, but the expectation of the wicked comes to nothing. Proverbs 10:28	The hopes of the godly result in happiness, but the expectations of the wicked come to nothing. hope patience joy
If we diligently observe this entire commandment before the Lord our God, as he has commanded us, we will be in the right. Deuteronomy 6:25	For we will be counted as righteous when we obey all the commands the Lord our God has given us. obedience law

Let the wicked forsake their way, and the unrighteous their thoughts; let them return to the Lord, that he may have mercy on them, and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

Let the wicked change their ways and banish the very thought of doing wrong. Let them turn to the Lord that he may have mercy on them. Yes, turn to our God, for he will forgive generously.
