| As for God, His way is blameless; The word of the Lord is refined; He is a shield to all who take refuge in Him. | God’s way is perfect. All the Lord’s promises prove true. He is a shield for all who look to him for protection. |
| Lead me in Your truth and teach me, For You are the God of my salvation; For You I wait all the day. | Lead me by your truth and teach me, for you are the God who saves me. All day long I put my hope in you. |

| Both riches and honor come from You, and You rule over all, and in Your hand is power and might; and it lies in Your hand to make great and to strengthen everyone. | Wealth and honor come from you alone, for you rule over everything. | Indeed, all who want to live in a godly way in Christ Jesus will be persecuted. | Yes, and everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution. |
