For if they fall, one will lift up his companion. But woe to him who is alone when he falls, For he has no one to help him up.For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up!
And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And they were judged, each one according to his works. And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Then another book was opened, which is the book of life. Who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen. For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting.Because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen. For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature; and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error. And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a debased mind to do what ought not to be done.
