It is not this way among you, but whoever wants to become prominent among you shall be your servant, and whoever desires to be first among you shall be your slave. | But among you it will be different. Whoever wants to be a leader among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first among you must become your slave. |
Do not judge, and you will not be judged; and do not condemn, and you will not be condemned; pardon, and you will be pardoned. | Do not judge others, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn others, or it will all come back against you. Forgive others, and you will be forgiven. |
Stop striving and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted on the earth. | Be still, and know that I am God! I will be honored by every nation. I will be honored throughout the world. |

Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. | Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. |
And the Lord will be King over all the earth; on that day the Lord will be the only one, and His name the only one. | And the Lord will be king over all the earth. On that day there will be one Lord—his name alone will be worshiped. |
Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful. | You must be compassionate, just as your Father is compassionate. |
A generous person will be prosperous, And one who gives others plenty of water will himself be given plenty. | The generous will prosper; those who refresh others will themselves be refreshed. |
So you are to be holy to Me, for I the Lord am holy; and I have singled you out from the peoples to be Mine. | You must be holy because I, the Lord, am holy. I have set you apart from all other people to be my very own. |
But when Jesus heard this, He responded to him, “Do not be afraid any longer; only believe, and she will be made well.” | But when Jesus heard what had happened, he said to Jairus, “Don’t be afraid. Just have faith, and she will be healed.” |

These things I have spoken to you so that My joy may be in you, and that your joy may be made full. | I have told you these things so that you will be filled with my joy. Yes, your joy will overflow! |
Finally, brothers and sisters, rejoice, mend your ways, be comforted, be like-minded, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you. | Dear brothers and sisters, I close my letter with these last words: Be joyful. Grow to maturity. Encourage each other. Live in harmony and peace. Then the God of love and peace will be with you. |
