- Be on guard. Stand firm in the faith. Be courageous. Be strong.
- But among you it will be different. Whoever wants to be a leader among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first among you must become your slave.
- Be still, and know that I am God!
I will be honored by every nation.
I will be honored throughout the world. - Such people will not be overcome by evil.
Those who are righteous will be long remembered. - And the Lord will be king over all the earth. On that day there will be one Lord—his name alone will be worshiped.
- Do not judge others, and you will not be judged.
- Do not judge others, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn others, or it will all come back against you. Forgive others, and you will be forgiven.
- Anyone who believes and is baptized will be saved. But anyone who refuses to believe will be condemned.
- This is what I told them: ‘Obey me, and I will be your God, and you will be my people. Do everything as I say, and all will be well!’
- O Lord, if you heal me, I will be truly healed;
if you save me, I will be truly saved.
My praises are for you alone! - But many who are the greatest now will be least important then, and those who seem least important now will be the greatest then.
- This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.
- Be exalted, O God, above the highest heavens!
May your glory shine over all the earth. - The time is coming when everything that is covered up will be revealed, and all that is secret will be made known to all.
- You must be holy because I, the Lord, am holy. I have set you apart from all other people to be my very own.
- But when Jesus heard what had happened, he said to Jairus, “Don’t be afraid. Just have faith, and she will be healed.”
- But the one who endures to the end will be saved.
- Then God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.
- So be on your guard, not asleep like the others. Stay alert and be clearheaded.
- You must be compassionate, just as your Father is compassionate.
- God blesses those who mourn,
for they will be comforted. - Be exalted, O God, above the highest heavens.
May your glory shine over all the earth. - The generous will prosper;
those who refresh others will themselves be refreshed. - So I tell you, every sin and blasphemy can be forgiven—except blasphemy against the Holy Spirit, which will never be forgiven.
- May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit.
Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord will personally go ahead of you. He will be with you; he will neither fail you nor abandon you.He alone is my rock and my salvation,
my fortress where I will not be shaken. Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people. Remember that the Lord will give you an inheritance as your reward, and that the Master you are serving is Christ.Next verse!With image
