| And every day, both in the temple and at home, they never stopped teaching and proclaiming Jesus as the Christ. | And daily in the temple, and in every house, they did not cease teaching and preaching Jesus as the Christ. |

| May the Lord guide your hearts to the love of God and the steadfastness of Christ. | Now may the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God and into the patience of Christ. |
| I do not set aside the grace of God, for if justification comes through the Law, then Christ died for nothing. | I do not set aside the grace of God; for if righteousness comes through the law, then Christ died in vain. |
| I am pulled in opposite directions. My desire is to depart and to be with Christ, for that is far better, but, it is a more urgent need for you that I remain in the body. | For I am hard-pressed between the two, having a desire to depart and be with Christ, which is far better.
