Can a man walk on hot coals without his feet being scorched?Or can one walk on hot coals without scorching the feet?
I can do all this through him who gives me strength.I can do all things through him who strengthens me.

Surely no one can stand in the way of their being baptized with water. They have received the Holy Spirit just as we have.Can anyone withhold the water for baptizing these people who have received the Holy Spirit just as we have?

Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.And though one might prevail against another, two will withstand one. A threefold cord is not quickly broken.
He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.He has made everything suitable for its time; moreover he has put a sense of past and future into their minds, yet they cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end.

Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise; his greatness no one can fathom.Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; his greatness is unsearchable.
