I have come to call not those who think they are righteous… Luke 5:32

I have come to call not those who think they are righteous, but those who know they are sinners and need to repent. Luke 5:32	I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance. sin repentance conversion

That is why the Lord says, “Turn to me now, while there is time. Give me your hearts. Come with fasting, weeping, and mourning.” Joel 2:12	“Now, therefore,” says the Lord, “Turn to Me with all your heart, With fasting, with weeping, and with mourning.” conversion fasting sadness
Anyone who believes in me may come and drink! For the Scriptures declare, ‘Rivers of living water will flow from his heart.’ John 7:38	He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water. faith Word of God life
But I will send you the Advocate—the Spirit of truth. He will come to you from the Father and will testify all about me. John 15:26	But when the Helper comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify of Me. comforter Holy Spirit Father
Then, by the will of God, I will be able to come to you with a joyful heart, and we will be an encouragement to each other. Romans 15:32	That I may come to you with joy by the will of God, and may be refreshed together with you. obedience joy dependence
Jesus replied, “All who love me will do what I say. Physical training is good, but training for godliness is much better, promising benefits in this life and in the life to come. 1 Timothy 4:8	For bodily exercise profits a little, but godliness is profitable for all things, having promise of the life that now is and of that which is to come. health obedience life
We all come to the end of our lives as naked and empty-handed as on the day we were born. We can’t take our riches with us. Ecclesiastes 5:15	As he came from his mother’s womb, naked shall he return, To go as he came; And he shall take nothing from his labor Which he may carry away in his hand. greed materialism heaven
And when he comes, he will convict the world of its sin, and of God’s righteousness, and of the coming judgment. John 16:8	And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment. Holy Spirit mediator sin
But in fact, it is best for you that I go away, because if I don’t, the Advocate won’t come. If I do go away, then I will send him to you. John 16:7	Nevertheless I tell you the truth. But Jesus said, “Let the children come to me. Don’t stop them! For the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to those who are like these children.” Matthew 19:14	But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven.” kingdom heaven children
The Lord keeps you from all harm and watches over your life. The Lord keeps watch over you as you come and go, both now and forever. Psalm 121:7-8	The Lord shall preserve you from all evil; He shall preserve your soul. The Lord shall preserve your going out and your coming in From this time forth, and even forevermore. hope life evil
Therefore he is able, once and forever, to save those who come to God through him. He lives forever to intercede with God on their behalf. Hebrews 7:25	Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them. eternal life Savior salvation
Look! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal together as friends. Revelation 3:20	Behold, I stand at the door and knock. In the night I search for you; in the morning I earnestly seek you. For only when you come to judge the earth will people learn what is right. Isaiah 26:9	With my soul I have desired You in the night, Yes, by my spirit within me I will seek You early; For when Your judgments are in the earth, The inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness. righteousness judgment learning
For everything comes from him and exists by his power and is intended for his glory. All glory to him forever! Amen. Romans 11:36	For of Him and through Him and to Him are all things, to whom be glory forever. Amen. creation worship gratitude
Enjoy prosperity while you can, but when hard times strike, realize that both come from God. Remember that nothing is certain in this life. Ecclesiastes 7:14	In the day of prosperity be joyful, But in the day of adversity consider: Surely God has appointed the one as well as the other, So that man can find out nothing that will come after him. joy life dependence
The more you have, the more people come to help you spend it. So what good is wealth—except perhaps to watch it slip through your fingers! Ecclesiastes 5:11	When goods increase, They increase who eat them; So what profit have the owners Except to see them with their eyes? materialism money desires
And the Good News about the Kingdom will be preached throughout the whole world, so that all nations will hear it; and then the end will come. Matthew 24:14	And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come. evangelism end times kingdom
Pray like this: Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy. May your Kingdom come soon. May your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Matthew 6:9-10	In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven. prayer Father humility
So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most. Hebrews 4:16	Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. grace prayer mercy
Do not judge others, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn others, or it will all come back against you. Forgive others, and you will be forgiven. Luke 6:37	Judge not, and you shall not be judged. Condemn not, and you shall not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. judgment forgiveness
Paul said, “John’s baptism called for repentance from sin. But John himself told the people to believe in the one who would come later, meaning Jesus.” Acts 19:4	Then Paul said, “John indeed baptized with a baptism of repentance, saying to the people that they should believe on Him who would come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus.” baptism conversion faith
