Bible Verses about 'Debt'

And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.
Owe no one anything, except to love each other, for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law.Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law.
The wicked borrows but does not pay back, but the righteous is generous and gives. The wicked borrow and do not repay, but the righteous give generously.
Pay to all what is owed to them: taxes to whom taxes are owed, revenue to whom revenue is owed, respect to whom respect is owed, honor to whom honor is owed.Give to everyone what you owe them: If you owe taxes, pay taxes; if revenue, then revenue; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor.
The rich rules over the poor, and the borrower is the slave of the lender. The rich rule over the poor, and the borrower is slave to the lender.
Give to everyone who begs from you, and from one who takes away your goods do not demand them back.Give to everyone who asks you, and if anyone takes what belongs to you, do not demand it back.
For which of you, desiring to build a tower, does not first sit down and count the cost, whether he has enough to complete it?Suppose one of you wants to build a tower. Won’t you first sit down and estimate the cost to see if you have enough money to complete it?
For the Lord your God will bless you, as he promised you, and you shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow, and you shall rule over many nations, but they shall not rule over you.For the Lord your God will bless you as he has promised, and you will lend to many nations but will borrow from none. You will rule over many nations but none will rule over you.
Wealth gained hastily will dwindle, but whoever gathers little by little will increase it.Dishonest money dwindles away, but whoever gathers money little by little makes it grow.
Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to do it.Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to act.
Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.”
No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money. No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.
Because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen. For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature; and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error. And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a debased mind to do what ought not to be done. They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen. Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error. Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind, so that they do what ought not to be done.
