Whom have I in heaven but you? I desire you more than anything on earth.Whom have I in heaven but You? And there is none upon earth that I desire besides You.
Lord, we show our trust in you by obeying your laws; our heart’s desire is to glorify your name.Yes, in the way of Your judgments, O Lord, we have waited for You; The desire of our soul is for Your name And for the remembrance of You.

Yes, and everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution.Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution.

Like newborn babies, you must crave pure spiritual milk so that you will grow into a full experience of salvation. Cry out for this nourishment.As newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby.

Then they can see all the glory you gave me because you loved me even before the world began!Father, I desire that they also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory which You have given Me; for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.
You want what you don’t have, so you scheme and kill to get it. You are jealous of what others have, but you can’t get it, so you fight and wage war to take it away from them. But if you remain in me and my words remain in you, you may ask for anything you want, and it will be granted!If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.
“Abba, Father,” he cried out, “everything is possible for you. Please take this cup of suffering away from me. Yet I want your will to be done, not mine.”Abba, Father, all things are possible for You. Take this cup away from Me; nevertheless, not what I will, but what You will.
I take joy in doing your will, my God, for your instructions are written on my heart.I delight to do Your will, O my God, And Your law is within my heart.
For the world offers only a craving for physical pleasure, a craving for everything we see, and pride in our achievements and possessions. These are not from the Father, but are from this world.For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world.
But people who long to be rich fall into temptation and are trapped by many foolish and harmful desires that plunge them into ruin and destruction.But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and harmful lusts which drown men in destruction and perdition.
I made a covenant with my eyes not to look with lust at a young woman.I have made a covenant with my eyes; Why then should I look upon a young woman?
Loyalty makes a person attractive. It is better to be poor than dishonest.What is desired in a man is kindness, And a poor man is better than a liar.
And this world is fading away, along with everything that people crave. But anyone who does what pleases God will live forever.And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.
I correct and discipline everyone I love. So be diligent and turn from your indifference.As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent.
For the Scriptures say, “If you want to enjoy life and see many happy days, keep your tongue from speaking evil and your lips from telling lies. Turn away from evil and do good. Search for peace, and work to maintain it.”For “He who would love life And see good days, Let him refrain his tongue from evil, And his lips from speaking deceit. Let him turn away from evil and do good; Let him seek peace and pursue it.”
For if you are trying to make yourselves right with God by keeping the law, you have been cut off from Christ! You have fallen away from God’s grace.You have become estranged from Christ, you who attempt to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace.
Do to others whatever you would like them to do to you. This is the essence of all that is taught in the law and the prophets.Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.

I tell you, you can pray for anything, and if you believe that you’ve received it, it will be yours.Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.
