| You shall diligently keep the commandments of the Lord your God, and His provisions and His statutes which He has commanded you. | Be sure to keep the commands of the Lord your God and the stipulations and decrees he has given you. |
| So the Lord commanded us to follow all these statutes, to fear the Lord our God for our own good always and for our survival, as it is today. | The Lord commanded us to obey all these decrees and to fear the Lord our God, so that we might always prosper and be kept alive, as is the case today. |
