One who loves discipline loves knowledge, But one who hates rebuke is stupid.Whoever loves instruction loves knowledge, But he who hates correction is stupid.
Those whom I love, I rebuke and discipline; therefore be zealous and repent.As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent.

So you are to know in your heart that the Lord your God was disciplining you just as a man disciplines his son.You should know in your heart that as a man chastens his son, so the Lord your God chastens you.
One who is on the path of life follows instruction, But one who ignores a rebuke goes astray.He who keeps instruction is in the way of life, But he who refuses correction goes astray.
The end of all things is near; therefore, be of sound judgment and sober spirit for the purpose of prayer.But the end of all things is at hand; therefore be serious and watchful in your prayers.

Therefore, prepare your minds for action, keep sober in spirit, set your hope completely on the grace to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.
