Make every effort to present yourself before God as one who is worthy of his approval, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, but who imparts the word of truth without any alteration. | Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. |

Conduct yourselves wisely toward outsiders, making the most of your opportunity. Every day, united in spirit, they would assemble together in the temple. They would break bread in their homes and share their food with joyful and generous hearts as they praised God, and they were regarded with favor by all the people. Therefore, take care to live as intelligent people, and do not be like those who are senseless. Make the most of the present time, for this is a wicked age. | See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. |
No one should seek his own advantage in preference to that of his neighbor. | Let no man seek his own, but every man another's wealth. |

While physical training has some value, the benefits of godliness are unlimited, since it holds out promise not only for this life but also for the life to come. | For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come. |
Each of us must consider his neighbor’s good for the purpose of building him up. | Let every one of us please his neighbour for his good to edification. |
You are all-beautiful, my love, without the slightest blemish. | Thou art all fair, my love; there is no spot in thee. |
Since we have these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from anything that can defile flesh or spirit, and thereby make our holiness perfect in the fear of God. | Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. |

For Christ is the fulfillment of the Law for the justification of all who believe. | For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth. |

Love does not rejoice over wrongdoing but rejoices in the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. | Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. |
The Lord makes a man’s steps secure when he approves of his conduct. | The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way. |
For everyone born of God conquers the world. And the victory that conquers the world is our faith. | For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. |
Give to everyone who begs from you, and do not demand the return of what is yours from the one who has taken it. | Give to every man that asketh of thee; and of him that taketh away thy goods ask them not again. |
God has overlooked the times of human ignorance, but now he commands people everywhere to repent. | And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent. |
If we live by the Spirit, let us also be guided by the Spirit. | If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. |
